Ivy House Hotel

Dirtyest hotel where i ever been, and i travel lot with cheap budget. There was bedbugs, mattress was brown. Toilet was dirty, carpet not even vacuumed. Stay away this place. Stuff was unfriendly, and when i tell that matress they only change my room.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The mattress was sunken and broken with holes in it, carpet was filthy. Water and damp running down the walls, paint peeling off the walls and cracked plaster on the floor. It was so small there was hardly any space to fit a suitcase. I was sent to the basement. In a pokey hole. The only plus side is that the shower was hot. I never tried the breakfast. I didnt even want to bother. I got no sleep for two nights because of the broken bed. My glasses fell down the side of the bed. I put my hand down the side of the bed to get them. A chunk of brown, wet sticky dirt stuck to my hand like poop, from down the side of the bed. Once I fished them out, I ran to the bathroom to scrub my hands. I put up with it, without any complaints, because I was visiting an art school and was only there for two nights. But I left at 6.30am on check out day. Didnt want to stay there another minute. May have to visit London again. But this hotel will not be where I'm staying. Im not putting myself though a hotel like this again. Dont put yourself through this people, you deserve better.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. Booked for a Saturday night. Went to check in but there was no one on the desk. Finally got the manager on the phone who said *********** had overbooked the hotel. THIS WAS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. They overbook the hotel to ensure it stays full. Staff at the hotel confirmed they do this regularly! *********** spoke to manager but he had no room available. Had to get a hotel down the road at considerable expense. Save yourself the hassle, this hole is not worth it.

The worst place on earth! Avoid at all costs! The hygiene is beyond the worse I seen. Got to the door, couldn't get in. Eventually someone come to the door. In reception, like something from a scene of only fools and horses, get the key, told to go downstairs to room 15. Feared for my life. I thought I was about to head down towards some dark dungeon. Plaster hanging off the walls.bhenryntje hoover staring at me, carpets in reception and all down stairs were black stained. Got into room, dodgy lock, the room stunk. Bathroom if you can call it that was like a wardrobe, filthy toilet and shower, worse than a public toilet. Backyard was like that of an industrial estate. It was by far the worse experience of life. I slept in my clothes for the fear of catching something. AVOID!

Booked this hotel for my son and his friend as a base for the boxing. The boys left for the fight however wasn’t given the access code to gain entry after 10pm and spent 90 minutes out side trying to get back in. The emergency contact number is useless “can’t be answered” and hotel phone number goes to mailbox. Eventually my son had to pry open a window and climb through that to gain entry and then open the door for his friend. At 17 and 18 this was a stressful experience and stressful for us parents back home worried about our sons on the streets at 2am

My experience in this s....hole can be described as a worst place I ever booked. Actually is hard to describe how dirty and stinky it is.. should not be called a hotel and I can't believe they have a license for the business. Complete fraud. Came to visit London with my wife (2 night stay), but as we entered the premise and checked the room (with bathroom situated 2 floors below), we were stunned, simply turned away and left immediately. Would not stay there for the night even if they pay me.
