This hostel has an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to Euston Station. There's construction nearby, but it doesn't affect pedestrian access. Downstairs is a pub, which explains the name. The rooms are upstairs, so be prepared to climb three flights of stairs, which is inconvenient for those with large luggage. The staircase is also narrow and steep. It gets quite noisy outside at night, so earplugs are a must for sleeping.

Great hostel for the basics, much better than I was expecting for the price! Very clean room and facilities. Sufficient locker for a carry-on. Comfortable bed. Other guests were super respectful. Lots of bathrooms and strong hot water. If you don't want to chill in the bar, there's some tables just the side of the hostel that worked great (in the summer), especially in the mornings. It was awesome that there was free luggage storage before and after checkout, which saved me several ££. I would 100% stay here again, especially for the great price.

I highly recommend this if you need to stay in London the night before, as it is located in the city center and offers excellent accessibility.

The bedroom was spacious and they provided a good fan as it was hot in London. The carpet in the corridors stinks and the bedroom floor was full of dust rolling around. I do not recommend and won't stay again. Stayed in the private double room, but the smell was so disgusting that I couldn't wait to get out. The shares bathroom was also dirty.

This hostel is essentially a restaurant downstairs with guest rooms upstairs. It's barely acceptable for a short one-night stay, but definitely not for any longer. First, the pros: It's very close to Euston station. You can store your luggage for free both before check-in and after check-out (in the lockers shown in picture 9). The bedding was reasonably clean, I didn't have any allergies, and the bathroom was clean too. There are two large fans which was a lifesaver – the room wasn't full during my stay, and I was lucky enough to get a bottom bunk, so I could point the fan directly at me (the fans don't oscillate but are very powerful). I chose this hostel over another one specifically because of these two large fans. Also, the downstairs restaurant prices seem reasonable, though I didn't eat there, it's a convenient amenity. Now for the cons: There are only stairs, so don't come if you have a large suitcase. The bunk bed height is very low; at 156cm, I couldn't sit up straight without hitting my head multiple times. The bed frames also transmit movement easily; my upper bunk mate's bed kept moving all night, and I couldn't sleep well. There are no power outlets by the bed, and it seemed like there were only four outlets in the room, two of which were used by the fans. The room's dust cleaning was clearly inadequate; after the fan blew all night, it kicked up large clumps of dust from under the bed. The shower facilities and service are subpar. I initially went into one shower stall, undressed and was ready to shower, only to find the showerhead was broken. I quickly moved to the next stall, but that one had run out of shower gel. I then had to go back to the first stall mid-shower to get some shower gel – luckily, no one came in while I was doing that.

Dorm room no.8 is very dim, with only one light in the center. Very hot in July. No socket or reading light for upper bed. No parking space. Maid did not refill the soap during our 4 nights stay. Vibe is good, friendly bartenders and staffs. Location is perfect for connecting trains to other parts of the country or into city.

What a lovely stay it’s been, amazing community around the hostel, making friends, location wasn’t the greatest but it was okay!

Room is on top the pub, narrow staircase ,very simple room ,they supply drinking water at the counter ( good services)

First off, the location is super convenient, really close to the subway station. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The cleanliness is quite good. There's a bar on the ground floor that plays music, but it's fine; it doesn't disturb anyone in the rooms, at least I couldn't hear it when I was sleeping or during the day. It would be even better if there was a self-service beverage vending machine. I woke up parched in the middle of the night and wanted a drink, but there was nothing available.

Good for solo and short stay. The amenities is clean and there is also free luggage storage

The price is cheap even very close by the station. Receptionist are always very kind and helpful.
