Our visit was like staying with family, including the hugs we got as we were leaving. (I can't think of another hotel i've stayed at where that happened) The staff and management were engaged and engaging and really were the highlight of the trip. It was great chatting with them about things big and small. They pay close attention to detail, such as new towels if you swim in the pool or beach, and the level of kindness was off the charts, Special dietary needs were accommodated. Housekeeping did an amazing job. Despite going to the beach almost every day, there was never sand in the room. An injury was responded to with concern and helpfulness. We went for our anniversary and would go back again in a heartbeat. Thanks to the Malli staff for the best vacation

Is the Mallihouna the best resort on Anguilla and therefore in the entire Caribbean? The loyal acolytes of Cap Jaluca may have something to say about that and the debate which has raged for decades will likely continue for many more! In our view however it edges out the #1 ranking. It is beyond dispute however that it it is miles and miles ahead of the rest of the competition. In our view the hierarchy is as follows Mallihouna/Cap Jaluca, 4 Seasons, Aroura and bringing up the rear and getting lapped by all of them, Zemi Beach! Strengths - exceptional location on a cliff overlooking the ocean and beautiful beaches - warm, efficient and exceptional staff. They have worked together for years and it shows. Everything you need is delivered immediately with a friendly smile - truly beautiful and unique interior design (see pictures attached). Lobby is stunning and classy. Infinity pools (public and private) are awesome. Rooms are beautiful. They have eschewed the ordinary and have take some chances to offer something truly unique and it works. - Celeste and Leon's are both solid dining options - Beautiful spa overlooking the Ocean Consideration Most of the rooms are not directly on the beach due to the amazing cliff side location. If you need to walk out onto the sand Cap Jaluca is your choice. We have been coming to the island for 20 plus years and love it. We have tried everything and strongly believe that Malihouna is the best!

We used to come here in the late 80's with my family and it is nice to know it's still here and still lovely. Many renovations have been made to the entry way, dining, pool, etc. We came here for Christmas dinner and found a lovely spot near the beach to renew our 20th anni vows. We then sat outside the bar to have a cocktail and listen to some live steel drum music which was a slice of heaven for me having grown up coming to the islands and loving this music. The cocktails were delicious, setting lovely, sunset beautiful - only drawback was just the service but easily forgivable given everything else.

We spent eight amazing days at this resort. I cannot say enough great things about this small boutique luxury resort. I spent time last week at the Four Seasons and Cap Juluca, while they are both beautiful resorts, they are too large for my taste. Malliouhana felt empty at the busiest time of the year and sold out. If you want to relax, escape, and be spoiled, this is the place. The level of personal service was over the top. Our room right on the beach was huge, with incredible views. I had an absolutely amazing stay at this resort and will certainly return. Everyone was incredibly welcoming at check in. The hotel arranged all my transportation to and from the airport as well as taxi services to restaurants while we were on the trip. The views are incredible at the pool and it is not a very crowded resort. The beach is also lovely and we stayed in a Garden view room and we were able to take a golf cart to the beach every day because it is a little bit of a walk. The food does take a while at the pool (just like most hotels in the Caribbean). There was one misunderstanding about charges to the room and the hotel straightened it out very quickly. Would love to come back.

This place is out of this world! Everywhere you look there is something beautiful and unique to admire. If it isnt the colorful caribbean decor, its the breathtaking views of Anguilla. The food was spectacular, Leon's is equal part fun and relaxing, the bi-level pool is one of the best I have ever seen. The vibrant artwork at Bar Soleil created the most unique vibe. I can go on and on about the beauty of this resort but the service was also on point across the whole stay and the rooms spacious. Would love to return every year!! I went in August and it was sunny and beautiful everyday.

Cannot recommend Malliouhana enough! My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon and we had the best time. The hospitality was top notch and I loved how this resort felt more like a boutique hotel rather than a huge resort. Staff knew us by name, and it truly felt so homey. Would definitely go back!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Malliouhana Resort in early November. We stayed for 10 nights and can't say enough about the resort and staff. Davida and the front desk provided exceptional friendly service throughout our stay. The pool staff, the staff out front who retrieved our car and drove the golf cart, and the beach staff in front of Leon's were friendly and attentive. The rooms are large and the bed comfortable. We appreciated the large bathroom, two vanities and wonderful shower. The view and large balcony were so relaxing for morning coffee and sunset happy hour. Tne beaches at the resort are beautiful and snorkeling around the resort was interesting when it was calm enough. The location of the resort was excellent. There are a number of good restaurants and some within walking distance. In addition, it is only a short (less than 10 minute) drive to other beaches if the water is too rough at Mead's Bay. We visited both the Four Seasons and Cap Juluca, which are very nice, but we were happy we chose Malliouhana. We enjoyed meeting the management team at the cocktail reception. We are hoping for a return visit next November...anxiously waiting for the rates to be released. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Malliouhana is an incredible place to stay! The views of the turquoise water and gorgeous beaches are absolutely stunning, and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is so relaxing and elegant. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is amazing; fresh and full of local flavors. Everything about the property is well-kept and has this perfect mix of Caribbean charm and modern style. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy paradise. I’d definitely recommend it!
