This was a delightful find. A very different establishment, with cottage like rooms, were tastefully furnished, providing the high level required at an affordable price. The well appointed restaurant offered an eclectic mix of fayre. Well cooked, well presented. Perfect. A great find which I highly recommend.

Food in the restaurant was very good.
So fed up with chain hotels - this is a super place!

I was a little disappointed as room felt quite cold, and a little dated. There were radiators but no independent control to switch on. I would have expected better for the price I paid. Especially comparing to other hotels I have stayed. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely.

Had been 3 years since I stayed at the Royal Oak and my last visit stayed there. Knew it was very nice place but my last visit showed it is now even better. Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, excellent food, spot on!

No problems at all. Eveything five star including quality of food.A very impressive English breakfast.. Must mention the young staff all of whom were very competent, friendly and added to the quality of service in a huge way.

Hotel is easy to find. Simple check in. Rooms are spacious with everything you need. Good wifi connection. Good choice of meals and very tasty and sensibly priced. Whole experience excellent would recommend highly

A wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff.
Perfect location. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Everything you could want. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice.
We have already made another booking which says it all!!!
