Chau Khuong Hotel

The hotel is 2 star - no gym no pool. The room is modern, clean but there is no safe , the bathroom in our room 704 is rudimentary - there is no standing shower . You have to shower in the Asian way - sitting in the slippery bath . Long Xuyen is lacking a decent hotel . This is why no Western tourist will come to visit this beautiful town . It was my birthplace so I feel attached to this place but reluctant to spent no more than 2 nights here

Motocycle rental ripe off We asked the receptionist for motocycle rental for 1 day and a half. He said fine just go ahead. Upon check out another receptionist named My asked us to pay for 2 days since they dont have policy of half day. None of the the contract showed that or the first reception did not mention anything about this. The attitude of the fenale receptionist working on May 6 pm shift (she said her name is My) is unacceptable and demand for the money. We wont stay here again

Nice hotel. Looks new. Well designed rooms, even the ones without windows. Good bathroom and bathroom amenities. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Breakfast was good, although western choices are lacking. The breakfast area is great with an outdoor area.

We stayed in Chau Khuong Hotel on 6/9/22 to 9/9/22. The hotel was very clean , good space and good service . The breakfast bar was excellent . They had many varieties of popular Vietnamese dishes and fruits . The menu was changed everyday so we did not need to go out much to try Vietnamese food in the outside restaurants. The Tivi had many Vietnamese channels for us to watch . We did not select the English speaking channel so we could not say here . Overall we were very happy with this hotel . We certainly would come back to this hotel again when we are in Long Xuyen .
