The hotel is what it offers. The rooms are simple, without luxuries, but they have what is necessary for a short stay. It was very hot, but the rooms had fans.
The common bathrooms are always clean. It has a kitchen with refrigerators to store food, a stove and dishes for cooking. All very practical for a short stay. It is definitely not for people who expect luxury, but for guests who appreciate an unpretentious place in a very good area, right in front of Little Tokyo.
The staff was very friendly, although it did not interfere much with the stay.
To enter there are stairs, there is no elevator. Which is important to know if you travel like us, to work at the LA Art Book Fair, with many suitcases full of books. But the young man at the reception helped us carry them. And the MOCA, where the fair was held, is next door, which is very practical.
