Simon checked us in and he said that he was upgrading our room! It was so so nice! We also received complimentary candles to walk in the procession at 9:00 p.m. We decided to go to the bar for a drink and had a very nice bartender who gave us some olives and crackers. I believe we ate every meal in the restaurant. It was delicious and they all called us by name when we walked in. It makes you feel very special.

The hotel was lovely. I loved the historic architecture. If visiting during the off season,be aware that little to no resturants or cafes are open. Very short walk to the sanctuary of Lourdes. Staff was friendly.

We had one of our loveliest stays at a hotel at the Grand Hotel Moderne in Lourdes, France. The staff was welcoming, professional, helpful and extremely accommodating. It is very clear that M. Tedesco, the hotel manager, has clearly articulated that culture and climate to his staff. Simon, at the front desk, assisted us with any and all inquiries and Paolo, who happened to be our waiter several occasions, did all he could to assist us with our dietary requests. My husband and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lourdes and cannot imagine staying anywhere else if and when we go back.

The location to the Sanctuary is perfect. The entire staff is friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend this location for anyone traveling to Lourdes.

I did not like the carpet. The room is clean but is smelly. Also I did not like the beddings. I doubled the blanket and still freezing. Temp control does not work properly. They should use comforter instead of those old blankets. Carpet needs to be changed smelly. Location perfect

Wonderful Hotel, perfect location! From Paulo who checked us in to Barbara in the bar restaurant the entire staff was friendly and warm. Our room was fabulous and looked out to the basilica! A perfect ten!

Property location is unique, it’s close to sanctuary and other shopping and dining attractions. The front desk staff is amazing, kind and very professional. It was truly wonderful experience.
