Villa Phathana Boutique Hotel

We booked another hotel a bit outside of the city, but their room was not available because of water problems. They organized a room in this hotel (brother's hotel). It is in the middle of the city. When I told him 10 minutes later of we can change the rooms because it's very noisy, he promised me it will get better at 10 pm. (The loudness was the reason why we booked the other hotel before) The noise didn't vanish till 11 pm and started before 6. The bathroom also smelled very bad, because they don't have a siphon. In the morning they also brought me the wrong breakfast. When we checked out he charged us 1$ more and also didn't excuse after I told him the unconvenience. The answer was, we could have checked out. That's rude and not the mentality I know from people of Laos. So if you're unlucky you get this room and he is just friendly because he has to but obviously not his real character.

Never booked this hotel but was sent message the night before we arrived saying to come this hotel when arrived was told this was a better hotel for us but after going to see the hotel we were meant to stay in this was not the case the hotel is dated and certainly not clean the bathroom is verging on disgusting location and breakfast are the plus points

Do not pay with credit card here, they entered an amount into the machine 30 times higher than what I was supposed to be charged by entering the amount in a foreign currency. Once I found out, they admitted fault and stated they would assist in returning the money (but did not apologize). Shortly after sending my bank details, they stopped answering my messages and now five months later they still keep the additional 1500 USD that they overcharged / stole from me.

We stayed at Villa Phathana Luang Prabang and booked for 3 nights. When we arrived the room was nasty, dusty and started coughing, having allergies and getting itchy. So I spoke to the hotel manager/owner if we could have the room cleaned because the other room he offered was much smaller with no windows and was still unclean. We woke up the next morning and asked if we could have our room cleaned because it was really awfully dusty and dirty. We left the hotel so they could clean for 5 hours but when we got back they just made the bed and placed new towels on our bed. That’s it. I took pictures to show him and also personally showed him the dirt in the room. We said we couldn’t stay in a room like this and we wouldn’t wanna stay and just pay for one night stay instead of three. He then said that he will charge us 50% of the total stay even though we only stayed one night. I tried to tell him that we would have loved to stay but it’s not really healthy and inviting and also unfair to charge us for half a night we didn’t stay. We had to pay either way as he was threatening to charge 3 nights.

On arrival at hotel was told there were no rooms available even though i had a confirmed reservation through *********** .i showed my confirmation but was told i was transferred to another , inferior hotel .On *********** website there were still three rooms available . From the time of booking to time of arrival the cost had gone from $71 up $225 so was just a money grab by both the hotel and *********** . Very disappointing

Affascinante con tutto quel legno di teak che ti circonda. Pulizia assoluta. Attenzione ai particolari. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. In centro perciò vicino a tutto. Abbondante acqua in bagno con tutti i servizi che funzionano e Ben che dirige tutto con gentilezza e cortesia assoluta. Ottimo ottimo ottimo

Établissement bien situé au centre historique de la ville à proximité immédiate du marché de nuit et de l’ancien Palais Royal. A par ça, cet hôtel aurait bien besoin de travaux de remise en état et de ré ameublement. La literie est peu confortable, la salle de bain bâclée et limite propre. Petit déjeuner un peu succinct et toujours identique dans sa composition. Le bâtiment étant ancien, il n’y a pas d’insonorisation ce qui est gênant vu l’activité des rues adjacentes. Le personnel est limité, sympathique et fait ce qu’il peut mais cela ne suffira pas à notre avis à fidéliser ses clients… Nous ne retournerons pas dans cet établissement.

L'hotel è carino ma la pulizia deve migliorare. Quello che mi ha fatto arrabbiare è che volevamo una notte in più ma ha detto che non c'era più posto, mentre su Booking si, non abbiamo capito il perché di questa posizione, nessuno screzio, nulla. Poi abbiamo scoperto che, dopo due notti passate lì ha cancellato la prenotazione su Booking per non farsi fare una recensione negativa. Abbiamo scoperto che ricarica molto sui servizi es escursioni ecc. con quella faccina sorridente fa fessi tutti. Ha tentato di vederci una stanza nel suo altro hotel ma soldi a lui non più!!!!! È disonesto e disgustoso, viscido e ipocrita. Io come albergatrice non ho comportamenti del genere e li trovo riprovevoli da altri.
