Welcome to The Freaky Tiki! The Freaky Tiki is in one of the best areas of Lubbock. You are a short walk to Texas Tech, restaurants, and shopping. It is just minutes to the hospitals and entertainment, a 10-minute drive from the airport, and a short drive to Southwest Lubbock. The Freaky Tiki is a completely rebuilt Spanish style home, along with a back house, in the historic Heart of Lubbock neighborhood. I redesigned both houses from bare bones to be amazingly comfortable and enjoyable with every amenity you expect. The brand-new HVAC systems will keep you cool or warm with the easy-to-use Nest thermostats, new plumbing, and Ring alarm system and outdoor camera will give you piece of mind during your stay. The Beachcomber is a spacious, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath house. The Hut sits behind The Beachcomber, and is a spacious, 1 bedroom, 1 bath house All TVs are connected through the high-speed Wi-Fi and are Smart TV's, so that you can watch your favorite Netflix show, Hulu, ESPN+, Disney+, etc... local channels are also available. The kitchens feature Talavera tile and butcher-block countertops, as well as brand new appliances. You will also find all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender, mixer, crockpot, cookie sheets, plates, bowls, cups, and flatware you need to cook a full meal. Plus, coffee bar setups! The bedrooms feature high end mattresses that regularly receive compliments from my guests, plus cozy bedding, and room darkening curtains. Each bed has a nightstand with USB lamps to charge your devices easily. You will find hangers and storage space to put your items away and feel like you are at home. Both living rooms have a sofa with a queen size pullout bed for extra guests. The bathrooms have totally been renovated with beautiful tile showers, and are filled with soft, plush towels, and all the bathroom amenities you will need, including a hair dryer. The backyard is a tropical paradise with a courtyard, firepit, and the Tiki Tavern for guests to relax in the open air and have a drink or two! There is a gas grill, multiple seating areas, and lounge chairs to soak up the sun. Cornhole boards, Darts, Horseshoes and Putting Green to enjoy…or have some friendly competition! There is a washer and dryer as well as laundry detergent, along with an iron and ironing board for guests to use. Perfect for a Game Weekend We were lucky to have this home for our stay for Tech's Homecoming Weekend. It was the perfect size for my husband and I as well as our friends. It was also great for entertaining or kids. Because of the weather, we weren't able to use the outdoor areas as much as we would have liked. But they were great amenities and we look forward to coming back and using them next time. The home was well stocked, clean, and perfect for what we needed. It was also super cute with a lot of attention to detail. And, it was within walking distance to the game, my son's dorm, and the nightlife near the campus.

Absolute GEM in Lubbock, TX The freaky tiki was an absolute gem! Bev is a wonderful host and very accommodating to our personal needs! We let her know our reason for our trip (TECH Graduation) and she provided just the perfect amount of decor for that in the home and on the patio! The home was clean & smelt clean and inviting! Beds are very comfortable! Coffee bar set up was great & had everything we needed for our morning pick me up! The indoor & outdoor pace is very welcoming and spacious! We will definitely be booking again with the freaky tiki for any of our future trips to Lubbock!

Exceptional Property- Exceptional Host Beverly is the best host we have ever had she thinks of the little things that will make your stay over the top amazing! The property is beautiful and so many fun activities set up. We rented both houses and had plenty of room!
