Woodrow House Bed & Breakfast

This is a great place to stop if you are visiting for graduation, home game or just passing through. We were on our way to Arizona from Dallas and this is a reasonable distance for the first day, Hotel is very clean, well furnished and has a VERY large TV in the sitting area. Disappointing is that I could find no way to navigate through the thousands of streaming channels to find the local TV stations. The last thing most people want in a hotel is to watch a 3 hr movie! Save the cost of all those channels and give us the basics. OK, rant over. Breakfast was wonderful and we got to meet the other guests and compare notes on our travels and family. One word of warning. If you cannot manage stairs with heavy bags try and get a first floor room. We looked at the caboose but did not stay there. May be an interesting place to stay. Another warning. Your GPS may tell you to make a U turn from 19th. Don’t. The entrance to the hotel parking lot is actually on Boston Ave. so just turn south and immediately left into the lot at the front of the house.

We stayed in the President’s room. There was plenty of room for my grandson to have a rollaway bed. Both beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard pool, and we played chess and dominoes on the living room. Dawn prepared a wonderful full breakfast for us. I only wish that we could have stayed longer, but we had to get home. The Woodrow House was a great experience! Dawn and David are the best.

I had a very pleasant stay during my transit in Texas. Cozy house, incredibly friendly family and staff. Clean and neat. Generously offered with available drinks, snacks, and superb homemade breakfast. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a homely experience.

The B&B was lovely. We stayed in the 50s room on the second floor. All about Buddy Holly and Marilyn. King bed was super comfy. Lots of covers and pillows. Very spacious room. We were served a cooked to order full breakfast in the morning. Host was very friendly, as were the other guests. Definitely will go back next time we’re in Lubbock

We had a great stay at the Woodrow B&B in Lubbock. It's a great location. The owners and staff are so welcoming and professional. The room was very comfortable (The President's Room) with lots of space in the common areas to spread out and work or do puzzles. We will definitely be back and it will be my regular go-to in Lubbock.

There is no place like home but The Woodrow House is a very close second! Luxurious rooms and delicious cuisine. Professional and Personable staff may you feel pampered and welcomed. Highly recommend this as place to stay. Large showers; comfy beds; all the amenities

My one-night stay at Woodrow House was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and the room was extremely comfortable. I stayed in the "Alumni Room," which overlooks the Tech campus and has lots of high quality Red Raider decor. The price was very good, especially considering all the extras (homemade cookies, drinks, delicious breakfast, etc.). On a previous trip I stayed at the big 4-star hotel down the street and Woodrow House was a much better experience!

Wonderful place to stay. Dawn is very kind, the house is super comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. I was in the 1950s room which was great. I didn’t have much time to explore the area but I would definitely stay here again.
