看得見風景的酒店，就在湖邊，兩樓露台直接對着湖，咖啡和茶免費供應，卡布基諾加美景，暇意的悠閑時光，酒店早餐也很棒

My wife and I spent one night at International au Lac Hotel during our stop in Lugano during our eight day train tour of Switzerland this past August. We booked the Belle-Epoque room, which is one of the historic rooms in the hotel. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which offered an excellent variety of breakfast items. We thoroughly enjoyed at stay at International au Lac Hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location, has helpful friendly staff and good accommodations. The hotel is a bit of a throwback to glamour days but it is appropriately so. Slightly worn but not bad and very clean. Also - if you have a car the attached parking is a savior.

My experience mirrored exactly what was advertised in their photos. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views of the lake from the balcony. While some areas of the hotel could benefit from a refurbishment, particularly the parts with carpeting, the overall experience was elevated by the stunning vistas, prime location, and the warmth of the staff. One of the conveniences was the underground hotel car park, allowing for easy access right outside the hotel entrance. The seamless check-in process, where they didn't even require my credit card, was a pleasant surprise. The presence of an honesty bar added a charming touch, and I particularly enjoyed indulging in some wine there. The hotel's location is another major plus, with restaurants, shops, and cafes just a one minute walk away. Additionally, the beautiful walk across the road, spanning from one end to the other, provided a picturesque experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of stunning views, convenient amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere in Lugano.

Easy walk from train station but remember to take the funicular down, right inside the train station. Maybe 15 minutes. Elegant older hotel, maybe 3+stars. Enjoyed the Honesty bar, lovely lounging area. We had Belle Epoch room - appropriately antique but mattress too soft for us. Maybe 10 minute walk from terrific restaurant Cucina da Alice.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and it was amazing. We had a balcony with a terrace and view of the lake, and the room had been renovated with beautiful decor. The breakfast staff was professional and the room was lovely. There are also several additional areas to relax which are really luxurious. I will say I do agree with the recommendations to go for the room with lake view. When we arrived the receptionist accidentally sent us to the wrong room which was isolated and not refurbished…..definitely not a good choice!

The loveliest hotel straight out of a Wes Anderson film. Charming and full of grandeur. I booked a single room on the top floor, it came with with a balcony and a spectacular view of the lake. At the back of the hotel there was a gorgeous garden with a great swimming pool. Polite and courteous staff too. I didn't want to leave

The hotel offered very good service & comfortable beds & rooms. The included breakfast was excellent. A wonderful variety of breakfast items. Location was central to a vast number of restaurants, all within walking distance. I would definitely return and encourage anyone considering this hotel, please go and enjoy!

Location and old school charm make this hotel an ideal choice in Lugano. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The room was very nice with a lovely lake view. We booked long in advance and the price was very competitive by Swiss standards. Highly recommend
