Great option in Luganville, slightly outside town so worth having a car. We rented one through Erick (Erick Williams ) which was delivered to the resort and we left at the airport at no extra charge. We hired a Kia Morning which was tiny and got us around, but in hindsight, due to the potholes, would have opted for a 4WD. We stayed 5 nights in total and started in a family room near the car park and it was musty and noisy so we were very grateful to the manager, Stuart, for his flexibility and moving us to two separate bungalows at the front of the resort. These were very pleasant, facing the water and spacious enough for 2-3 people, with a sink and fridge, ensuite and a lovely place to sit outside. The big pool area was very inviting (pool water quite cool in June), and was a gorgeous place to have breakfast each morning, overlooking the water. You can walk on the beach and in the morning watch the locals trying to net some fish. Breakfast itself was nothing special as there was little fresh fruit to be had and just muffins, white bread to toast and condiments, but it was ok. We ate dinner here once, had the pizza, and it was good. There is a communal kitchen that you might be able to use which meant we were able to cook some much needed veggies (the LCM supermarket in Luganville was very well stocked and catered to foreigners). Staff were very helpful, friendly and rooms were cleaned every day. We had a very enjoyable stay though recommend the standalone bungalows and having a car.
