Travelodge Lytham St Annes

Located right in the heart of St Annes, only a few minutes walk to the beach. Shopping was also very convenient. A Mark's and Spencer just below the hotel. Eateries and coffee shops just round the corner. Very close to the restaurant that my friend operates. Was there to visit him as I had not seen him for over 5 years. This hotel does not have much in the form of facilities. Only 4 carpark space and 3 more for handicaps. There are fee paying carparks nearby but can find free parking in back streets further away from hotel.

Cocky receptionist not very helpful on arrival. Rooms were spotless and housekeepers very helpful. Rooms now refurbished. Good bed and seating in room was better.

Not having had a holiday for many years we decided to try a weekend away. As we have liked St. Anne's we booked in at Travelodge. Much enjoyable Thanks.

Great location for station, town centre and sea front with really friendly staff. Quite a stylish room, although compact which reflects budget cost.

I recommend Travelodge in general but not this one specifically. It was difficult to find. We went round the block several times as signage was only visible from the opposite direction to the one we were traveling in. It is situated above a Vets and Shop, with only a small entrance door / porch and reception being on the first floor. Parking is scant. 4 spaces, which were full. There were 3 unoccupied disabled spaces. Someone put a threatening notice on our car while we parked up just to unload (we weren't restricting access). Quite a stressful start to our stay.

My husband and I traveled to st annes travelodge Monday 15th April we have stayed here many times all staff always very pleasant and helpful.. Sadly on Tuesday 16 April early hours of the morning my husband took ill.I went to reception explained to Conner and he rang 999 I can't thank him enough he was such a good lad assisting us and the paramedics..He and his mate are a credit to travelodge thank you so much boys..you helped us both tremendously my husband had emergency surgery that morning and is recuperating well thanks to Dr barker and his team at blackpool victoria and Paul on critical care also staff on ward 14 you have been so kind to us as a family Thank you all so much 😀

This is our favourite Travelodge and that's why we are frequent visitors. I have read the last seven reviews (all five stars) and we would agree with all the comments made. This is a very good hotel (much enhanced by the recent refurb) with great staff who go out of their way to help. The hotel is clean and well managed. The location is excellent with many shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The greatest asset of the hotel is the staff. On our recent visit Ben was very helpful when we checked in as was Emma when we checked out, We did spend time catching up with Sam. We first met Sam on her first day eight years ago (one of her colleagues said she’s part of the furniture!) and she’s been looking after us ever since. Sam is an outstanding staff member and an excellent ambassador for the Travelodge brand. We are looking forward to seeing her again on our next visit in just over two weeks time.

Overall good value. Rooms were a reasonable size, modern and very clean. Everything worked and good supply of towels etc. Bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows (which were a bit hard but OK). Check in and out very easy. Stock up on tea, coffee and milk as room supply small. No limit on this so long as you ask. Staff are all cheery, very friendly and very helpful. Overall good value, clean, nice staff and perfect for a budget stay. No parking at this one except pay car park in front. £2 per night.

Stayed in march for 4 nights normally would go in a more expensive hotel .However lesson learnt his was a spotless room , recently revamped room a quarter of the price of our previously favourite hotel for the same package . Bed was so comfy and the room spotless .why pay more ???
