I had family stay here on Friday 15th November, and they never had such a worst stay before. They were greeted by such a miserable man on reception that called himself a manager. The restaurant next door put you to shame when it comes to customer service. And maybe when talking bad about how you have treated someone that you are the manager for maybe close the office door. I am appalled and will not allow my family stay here again. The cleanliness of the room was brilliant but not understanding the tacky plastic boxes in the room with tea and coffee in. And how empty the whole reception is no welcoming feel. Have put in official complaint with customer services.

Typical Premier Inn offering in Macclesfield, felt a bit dated and in need of a refurb, room was cold and heater barely improved the temperature. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful, decent parking and a pub next door for any food offering

Happy with the room, cleanliness and quiet, and service. But breakfast was disappointing - recommend going elsewhere! Continental breakfast was flabby defrosted croissants, instant coffee and an absence of fruit. Cooked breakfast is better value.

terrible cocky staff on reception pouring down with rain time was 14.40 we asked is our room ready he said yes but it,ll cost you a tenner before 3pm we said you said the room was ready he said it is but will cost you a tenner what soert of staff are this we left the bags in the car and came back at 11am disgusting service seme man was still on then he said next time read the small print BE NO NEXT TIME

Over twenty years this has been my first choice when visiting friends nearby. I new what to expect at a reasonable price. This time I was charged £273 for 2 nights, it will be my choice of last resort from now on. There are much better hotels cheaper even adding a taxi fare The staff were great however there are signs of lack of maintenance and the photo shows why our shower drained slowly, an indication of the cleaning routine.l

Hoping to get a response from my complaint but still waiting. Shower was not working and nothing could be done to resolve this when I raised it at the hotel. Luckily we had two rooms but this was far from ideal and mess than expected level of service

Much like any other, except there is no lift. If you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor. The coffee at breakfast was "instant", although decent coffee was available in an evening. My guess is the low number of staff would not be able to keep up with hot drinks. Other places have self service coffee, even percolated coffee would be better. With regards the staff, they are friendly and attentive. Water pressure is very low, don't expect to fill a basin with hot water for shaving at reasonable speed. A couple of niggles, but nothing to get upset or worried over. I'd stay there again.

Excellent stay room clean bed comfortable and room was quite. The room had a walking shower ideal as my partner is disabled Good value. Ideal location if visiting Gawsworth hall

The hotel reception and rooms were just as you expect. The breakfast however was not up to Premier Hotel levels. The breakfast menu listed the types of eggs you could order but unbelievably boiled eggs were not available though they were actually on the menu, and also the brown bread was not replenished. The breakfast time is also limited as the last order is 0900 with the continental being cleared up shortly after. The service was really slow given we were only one of the two tables occupied. It was so disappointing we did not bother to go down for the purchased breakfast the second morning.
