The hotel appeared nice but our room was disappointing. The carpet was stained and looked dirty.

挺好的酒店，在湖邊，環境超級棒，交通也很方便，酒店餐飲也非常不錯，以後有機會去麥迪遜，厄齊沃特活動仍是我的最佳選擇

Plenty of onsite restaurants and bars to make everyone happy and content. Beautiful lake view and in the winter ice skating is available!

I had a great time at The Edgewater. They have attentive staff and plentiful ways to get ahold of the staff. They text you after you settled in your room, room service is offered still til 10 pm. Enjoy that.

We always stay at the Edgewater whenever we come to Madison. Rooms are comfortable. Worth paying extra for a lake view. The Statehouse is always a bit of a mixed bag. Overall, the food is usually quite good, but the servers are often a bit inexperienced. We had Thanksgiving dinner there this year. The turkey and the gravy and the cranberry sauce were excellent, but the side dishes were not very good. And they ran out of the pumpkin pie. We ordered room service for breakfast which was mostly fine, except that one morning they forgot to toast the english muffin.

Things I liked: the view of the lake from our room was really nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary snack tray was a nice touch. Things I did NOT like: They charge you $24 for parking overnight in their parking lot. We were awakened at 5 AM by the refrigerator cycling on, then off, over and over with a loud click every time. The two meals we had in the Statehouse (their upscale restaurant) ranged between mediocre and disappointing. Seriously, go somewhere else to eat.
