1. We booked two double-bed rooms. When we checked in, we were given a double-bed room and a twin-bed room. Two gay men cannot sleep in the same bed, so we went to the front desk to coordinate, and the front desk told us to change rooms. There is an additional fee of 30 euros! Don’t hotels have to abide by the agreement? Don’t hotels have to honor reservations? I hope Ctrip can give an explanation! ! ! Second, there is no Chinese courtesy at the service desk! It’s not like they can communicate in Chinese as Ctrip said! 3. When we arrived at the hotel, we were charged an additional deposit of 600 euros. After checking out, there is still no payment reminder! very worried!

This hotel is really a bargain for how nice it is. I found the service to be impeccable, breakfast buffet was incredible and the location is right in front of a metro station. A bonus is the contemporary art collection which reminds you that you are in Madrid and not just any nameless, nice hotel. I love the schluter brass detailing in the bathroom and bedroom walls. These design touches add such gravitas to a stay, even when short. Bravo, I would stay here again.

The lobby, restaurant, and garden are all elegantly and meticulously decorated, but the room is a bit crowded for us as a family of three, and the room facilities are average. My favorite is the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor, the restaurant environment and food are of high quality. In addition, the location is very good, very close to the main attractions in the old city (Madrid Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza España), ten minutes walk, but please pay attention to driving, this is a restricted area in the old city. We have chosen this hotel for our Autovista Technology Conference 2023 with 130 delegates. All worked perfectly, The organizational team was on top of all activities. Rooms very clean, service excellent l, friendly and supportive. Food for breakfast, lunch and gala dinner was high quality. The plenary room was big enough, a lot of natural light by big windows. All technical equipment and network worked perfectly. I can recommend this hotel for business events and private trips without doubts.

The hotel is in a very central location at Gran Via (main shopping street). Metro station is just a few meters away. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are quite big. There is also a nice rooftop bar with good cocktails. Due to the location the hotel is great for a weekend trip to Madrid. I would definitely stay there again.

We got an awesome room, great location and super Fun pool. It’s super popular with the Instagram crowd and they cater a bit to them. But everyone is super nice and friendly, treated our kids lovingly although they accidentally threw away our baby’s lovie and couldn’t find it later which super sucked. The bathroom flooded because it was so full of hair from previous guests, kind of gross. Got an absolutely terrible night sleep because you can hear every single Thing in the hotel from next door to above you. They seemed to be vacuuming rooms at 1:00AM above us and moving furniture which was super loud. Food was great, service was excellent but alot of snotty people.

Great time at hotel roof at cosy bar. Really helps when downtown everything keeps the heat: pavement and buildings. Nice Cold glass of Cava and beautiful view from above. Many thanks to hotel staff being so friendly, hospitable, and ceremonial. It counts nowadays twice, when many do not care about good manners. I can recommend Villa Vinci as a highly agreeable and enjoyable place to stay. Last but not least it has a strategic location at Calle Gran Via, which always guarantees you a “place to be”.

Like in other reviews, the main pro about this hotel is location. Very convenient for metro and bus access, and within reasonable walking distance to the Palacio Real. However, that’s about the only reason to book this hotel. The Front Desk staff was rude, unaccommodating, and just plain wrong. He insisted that the room was not suitable for two when the booking and rate type, both in my confirmation email and in the IHG app, clearly showed “SLEEPS 2.” When I asked if it’s a twin bed in the room, he said no it’s a queen. So I asked what’s the problem then? As we were getting our keys he then said by the way breakfast would normally be for one but in this case I give you guys the second breakfast free. As if he were trying to come across as doing us a favor, when I know for a fact that the rate I booked included breakfast for up to two guests. Our best guess is this person was ********** (it was myself and my ******** partner) and couldn’t stand the idea of us being in this room together. This is also all without so much as even acknowledging my loyalty (Gold) with IHG. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses with considerably more welcoming staff than this man (won’t name him by name unless IHG reaches out) displayed at this property. Stay at this property for the location but don’t pay anything more than 60€ per night. Anything more than that is a rip off. And don’t expect to be given a warm welcome by this particular front desk person. There was another person - a woman - working the front desk but our interactions with her were unfortunately limited. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had been welcomed by her as she was considerably more pleasant.

Praise only for this hotel - located on the busy Gran Vía, but quiet, due to good windows, recently changed. The view of the Royal Palace from our room, 710, was beautiful. Super clean, the ladies work so hard at cleaning the room every single day! Breakfast was varied enough, no complaints at all there. You get delicious omelette, ham and sausages + cheese and salami, etc., amazing fresh pastries, juices, yoghurt, cereal and fruit… coffee is great too. And the ladies who are there from 7 to 11 (officially), are simply wonderful. All the staff are just lovely and incredibly helpful. Yes, I speak the language and it makes a difference, everyone should make the effort to do so when travelling. I think that, for all the great things that it offers, this hotel is excellent value for money and the reviews should be even better, as it deserves it. ¡Gracias por todo y hasta muy pronto, espero!
