Great property within walking distance of the best of Mainz and good parking area. Place was nice and perfect for a small family to stay for a few days.

Excellent location! No need to drive as everything is within walking distance. Marco was a fabulous “host” and was attentive to any needs or questions. Upgraded to a quieter apar**ent on higher floor. The room was spacious and clean. Although the streetcar vibration was noticed, it was not disruptive to sleep. Also streetcars don’t run after about 12:30am-6am, so we slept well. Nice kitchen with all you would need if dining in. Plenty of coffee, which was a huge plus! Hotel was beautiful, clean and spacious. Smell of sewer gas from bathroom was the only negative, which is common in older buildings. We kept the door closed and did fine otherwise. Parking was off-street and very safe. Lovely stay for those who wish to walk through Mainz and be close to everything. Chris**as market was lovely!

Spacious apar**ent in an 18th century mansion, located close to the centre of Mainz. Great facilities, inc shower & kitchen and friendly/fun manager. We were warned about the trams rumbling past but they didn’t disturb us at all. Overall, this place was perfect for us!

We arrived earlier than normal check in time and were met by a very friendly and welcoming agent. We were given a beautiful room immediately. Definitely a perfect place for walking and seeing the sights of Mainz

I have just returned from the Osteiner Hof in Mainz where I stayed for a week in the Bremen apar**ent with my wife. Whilst the location was excellent the apar**ent was very small. As you come in the door there is a small toilet and wash basin immediately to the right and a 4 inch step up to the rest of the apar**ent which you had to be aware of. My wife did manage to trip on one occasion. There is a Chaise Longue stuck in an alcove which is the only place to sit comfortably alone or side by side if you have a partner. No arm chairs. The kitchen is reasonably fitted out and there is a high table with 3 high bar stools which if you are small or elderly can be a problem. Leading off the kitchen is a small shower room which you have to manoeuvre into a corner to close the door. The shower is good though. The bedroom is a reasonable size and has a wardrobe. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were large square things which were impossible to sleep on, for us anyway. The windows were a good 7 feet up so no view. For almost a thousand pounds a bit pricey and more suited for a weekend rather than a week.

+. The location is unbeatable. - The “apar**ent” however which is a bedroom with a small kitchenette could need some improvement. Too dark, sp****ly furnished and a window so high that you need a chair to open and close. The tram rattles by every five minutes which makes the place shake. Unfortunately also very poor internet!
