Group of 9 in total, 5 adults, 4 children aged 5, 6, 9 and 10 stayed a part of our wedding - we were the bride and groom and chose this hotel for our special occasion. Wedding had been delayed twice due to Covid and the hotel had kindly transferred our bookings each time - which was good. Seemed fine when we arrived, had drinks while the gentleman took our passports and checked us in. 1st day went to the pool with the kids from 10am to about 12, then went out into town. Second day went the pool again for the morning, received our "final warning" from the owner because the children were being noisy in the pool. It wasnt so much the warning, but the manner it was delivered, the owner walked past and without stopped said "your children are too noisy, this is your final warning" and carried on walking. Would of been better if he had taken one of the adults to one side and been a little nicer about it - but hey, he can act how he likes, his hotel. The kids were jumping in and out of the pool, maybe a little bit loud, they are kids after all. There was nobody at the pool for that first morning - maybe because of the children. Fair enough, we dont want to upset other guests or ruin holidays. Anyway, we had planned for my future wife to get ready at the hotel on the day of the wedding, with her mother and father. Arrived at the hotel to drop off the dress on the night before and was informed by the owner that only hotel guests are allowed in. We had to hastily arrange another hotel for the following morning, and re-arrange bride pick u and flower delivery etc. luckliy lake garda weddings and hotel vega helped us out. fair enough - we probably should of asked if it was Ok - didnt think it would be an issue - but it was. His hotel, his rules i suppose. I should note that when we booked this i advised we were the bride and groom, and booked family rooms with the children's ages declared at time of booking. After that we all started to feel a little less welcome at the hotel than we had anticipated - so tried to limit the time spent there. The air con didnt work very well, but i didnt fancy asking the owner to help at this point to avoid antagonising him further. So if you have kids or are traveling for a wedding, think twice. Other than that as our experience, the hotel seemed OK - breakfast was continental, could do with sorting the wasp and fly issue out but that seemed to happen everywhere in town so cant be too harsh on that score. Many couples seemed to be having a great time, owner seemed to like them, get on well with them, chat etc. Its a shame the hotel didn't work out for us, as we would of liked a special hotel to go back to in future years. But thats not to be. Many of our friends had different experiences with other hotels, some even being dropped off in town by the owners of their hotel on the wedding day to save walking in the heat. So there are good hotels in town - but this was didnt work out for us as a bride and groom with a
