Our GEM Shamin was the best, responsive and accomodating. The restaurants on the island were great and all staff are very friendly. Comfortable beds and super clean villas with great views. Would recommend anyone looking for a place to relax!

Our stay at the SO/ Maldives was absolutely amazing. The experience was unforgettable, thanks in large part to our host, Riq, whose exceptional service made our trip even more special. From the moment we arrived, Riq went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. His warm hospitality and attention to detail truly enhanced our stay, making it an extraordinary getaway in paradise. We can't wait to return!

Incredible hotel - everything from the moment you land is taken care of with the utmost attention to detail. Location of the hotel is great, a short speed boat ride away from the airport (but remote enough to feel like you are on a true Maldivian private island.) The rooms are beautiful - we had the ocean view cabanas and were extremely happy with the accommodations. The food is lovely, we didn’t have a single bad meal. The facilities are fantastic as well, the spa and gym are state of the art. Perhaps the most impressive of all is the quality of service. The staff are incredibly friendly and beyond accommodating - the true meaning of hospitality. In particular: Ahsan, Shamin and Mohamed Ashraf made our stay unforgettable.

This hotel opened just recently in November 2023, so everything was still new. I stayed here for two nights and I have to say, that I enjoyed my time in this hotel. I had an overwater villa, which was very nicely designed with an own pool on the balcony and with direct access to the sea for sure. The bed was comfortable enough to get a good rest in a very quiet environment during the night. The staff was friendly and courteous, but had some initial difficulties in some processes, which was not a problem for me as everything was still in the opening phase. Concerning the food I have to say, that I made different experiences, as the breakfast could have been more various and tastefully like the poached eggs I had. On the other hand I had a pizza at the pool, which was very delicious in my opinion. Some of their villas and houses were still under constructions during my visit, but there was no noise disturbing me, however when everything will be finished one day, it could get a bit more crowded on the entire hotel island, compared to that time I was staying there. For complimentary guest entertainment they offered a cocktail hour and a bake-your-own-pizza-session, which I was very pleased of!
