Relaksująca wycieczka, rozczarowująca, że ​​opcja all inclusive nie była all inclusive. We have had a wonderful holiday here at the hotel and spa. The staff have been excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food in all the restaurants has been exceptional, particularly the Minoan Greek Taverna which we both enjoyed very much. The whole resort is very clean and looked after well. We enjoyed the saltwater pools during the day and the snacks by the pool. I attended the spa twice for treatments provided by Poppi. It was a truly amazing experience on both occasions. All of the staff at the spa were friendly and helpful and Poppi gave me the best massages I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. There was various entertainment available in the evening including watching football games from Euros. We particularly like the DJ who played at the pool one evening, the three tenors and the group of young male singers who were brilliant. The Greek dancing was also very entertaining. Our room although beautifully decorated, clean with good facilities had no privacy in the patio area with many people passing our glass doors throughout the day and evening. Maintenance also took place outside of the room and caused quite a noise during the night. However, after a message to reception, who apologised, this did not happen again. We used the air con almost the whole time we were there and the flat screen tv had some films on in the evening which was nice. The views across the sea are stunning and there was always plenty of sun loungers and places in the shade to relax. We will definitely come back

We spent a week at Seaside for our honeymoon and had a fab time. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food selection is excellent and fresh in both the buffet and 3 a la carte restaurants. There's a good selection of cocktails and drinks too. We stayed in the Loft Suite and were glad of the extra space, it still wasn't huge so we thought the standard rooms might be on the tighter side. Not a massive deal if you don't plan on spending much time in your room. We also had access to a shared private pool alongside the main pools which we weren't expecting. The best part about the hotel is the setting, the 360 views are exceptional. There is a small beach right by the hotel (you can basically get the lift all the way down!) and a slightly tired town, Agia Pelagia, about 30 minutes walk away if you fancy a wander. There are local buses and car hire options for those who want to explore further. The only thing we'd suggest improving is the music at the pool bar is really loud which doesn't quite work with the relaxed setting, but that's just a minor point. The entertainment also varied in quality! But overall would definitely recommend for a chilled, luxury all inclusive break.

Wow, we have just spent a lovely week in this hotel. The room was spotless. The food was very varied and as my readers will know I'm a very fussy eater. I never struggled to find something to eat. The 3 Al a carte restaurants were some of the best we have been to. Have to say a big thank you to all the staff, especially Stella and Mara in the main dining room. They always had a big smile and made our day. The hotel is built into the side of the mountain, and the views are stunning, a bit hilly, but there are lifts to get you about. Plenty of pools to choose from and always sun loungers available.

We stayed at the resort for 9 nights during our honeymoon and honestly was pretty much perfect. ROOMS: The room was more or less as described by pictures when we booked it. We booked a sunset view room with the sharing pool and we shared the pool with around 9 other rooms however we found it extremely peaceful and only one or two rooms would usually be in at the same time. The only criticism is the drainage smell which was prevalent however maintenance came and fixed it with one quick call to reception. 5/5 FOOD AND DRINK: We were originally very sceptical about food poisoning with the many reviews stating they were victims of food poisoning however all food was fresh and delicious with no evidence of anything undercooked or off. In the main restaurant most of the food was the same as the previous days however there was a themed night each week and even though the food was typically the same it was still delicious. Choices of gyros meat usually every day, pita bread and freshly cooked pizza in the pizza oven. The a la cartes which were included were beautiful and a true elegance of fine dining which during our honeymoon was perfect as we could get dressed up and feel posh. Staff were impeccable. There was also a snack bar at both pools serving crepes waffles croffles sandwiches and crisps. Moving on the drink you can view the drinks menu online for the bar and some complained that you had to pay for certain drinks but we were pleasantly surprised that brands such as Absolut vodka were included as standard and with a lot of AI resorts it would be the cheap country equivalent. Cocktails were fresh and not pre packaged and the coffee was fresh bean to cup. 4.5/5 SERVICE: Staff were impeccable and offered true excellent customer service. We’d like to thank specifically Mara from Breakfast, Giannis from Snack Bar and Chars from the night time. Our housekeeper in room 531 was also extremely friendly. 5/5 Overall a perfect stay and we would happily recommend to a friend.

Overall we think the hotel is a bit overrated, they advertise it as a luxury 5 star hotel with really modern rooms with a luxury touch. You get that feeling at the bar and at the reception but our room (maisonette suite) felt more like a renovated room with older tiles, older curtains, etc. That doesn’t mean we didn’t like it but since they advertise it differently we expected something more modern/luxurious. It was also our honeymoon (which we mentioned beforehand) and no gift or note to congratulate us in which we were a bit disappointed. We also had an issue with our airco not working, as a gesture they offered us 2 nights for free for next year but since we never go twice to the same hotel we refused this. The second option they gave us was a breakfast in bed which we thought was really funny because who would ever want breakfast in a 30 degrees Celsius room . Eventually they let us choose what we wanted and opted for a free massage of 30min. Overall this experience with the hotel management felt a bit amateuristic. Good to know maybe: the rooms with private pools don’t have 100% privacy, you can see those private pools from the public pools and from our back balcony we could look into 3 rooms with private pools. Next to our room (at the end of corridor) they stored the cleaning cart which is not a nice thing to see (they could at least make a curtain or door so you don’t see it -for a 5 star hotel-). We really liked the views from the hotel (on the cliffs), the cocktails, the food in both the main restaurant and the a la carte restaurants. From all the 5 star hotels we stayed at this was the most expensive yet the most underwhelming. We would rate it more like a 4 star hotel (which is still really good but not for that price point).

Good points and bad but very relaxing. Check in was okay, Eleni wasn’t overly welcoming and we were left arranging our own transport to our room!!! Loft suite was spacious although lacked shelves for clothes. Would have been more helpful to have a toilet upstairs rather than a shower which didn’t work. Shower downstairs didn’t have great pressure and was cold at peak times but otherwise was good. Room was kept clean and toiletries were always replaced…the air con was wonderful, kept the room cool and wasn’t noisy.. water in the fridge was replenished every day. The buffet dining suited us and gave lots of choice. We never had any problem getting a table however at some times there were queues to wait for tables. The food was excellent and the deserts were amazing.. the staff worked hard and were very polite, always topping up our wine.. we were offered 6 nights at the specialist restaurants during our 14 night stay but we chose to only eat at the Umi.. cannot fault the service and the food was lovely and a nice change to be served.. The evening entertainment wasn’t the greatest. It was repeated on our second week. We enjoy a little bit of audience participation and the only ones to manage this was the “Driffters”.. disappointed that they didn’t perform the second week however the 3 ladies were good. Saturday night was a complete let down.. and on Sunday the rave music wasn’t to our liking and on the 2 nd week we were leaving early on the Monday morning so the music booming around the resort till after midnight for us was very disturbing and neighbours who liked to play their music till 3.30 am was not great as the rooms were not soundproof.. the bar staff during the evening entertainment were very busy (especially with the Euro football games too) and extra staff would have been beneficial to prevent guests from waiting for drinks.. the drinks were good quality as were the cocktails.. we preferred to use the pool above our room, the Pelagos.. the staff at the pool bar were amazing and Eleftheria taught my husband to speak Greek, she was so patient with him and made it fun.. She is a real credit to the hotel always smiling. My biggest grump is about people reserving sun beds.. Even though a polite notice was attached to the umbrella poles while we were there, people read the notice and ignored it and hotel staff did nothing about it.. even managers walked past beds that had towels placed on them and did nothing.. these beds were not used for hours after we arrived at 10 am , the other thing which was annoying was that people left their cups and rubbish at their sun beds when they left for staff to clean up or by other guests wanting to use the beds.. The hotel guests were mostly under 35 years and varied nationalities.. a few groups of ladies only staying for a few nights and some like us older ones.(60+)The steps were steep at places but we managed around the hotel with no problems.. we enjoyed our time at this hotel, the view of the
