Really lovely hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and had wonderful views out over the square. I imagine if you are on the side of the building it could get quite noisy as there are lots of bars and restaurants. Located in the heart of the Old Town it has everything and more you could ever need. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid to park in the indoor garage for the 3 nights we stayed which was much cheaper than parking across the road in the outdoor car park. Breakfast was delicious and so much choice! Highly recommend Ruth’s and Mahalle for an amazing meal out!

It's a very good location to sleep and be close to shopping an sightseeing points. If you're looking for a bar or club, there are serverals nearby. It's a wonderful place to stay and come by for a wonderful breakfast.

The location of the hotel is really close to main train station and everything is within walkable distance. They have a get offer of restaursnts nearby. The hotel staff is super friendly, breakfast really good compared to other Scandics. The beds are comfy but the rooms are a bit outdated compared to other Scandic hotels in Malmö.

I stayed here for just one night. I arrived quite late having flown from the Faroe Islands into Copenhagen Airport. From the airport I caught the train to Malmo across the Oresund Bridge. This hotel was less than a 10 minute walk from Malmo Central Railway Station. When I arrived at reception, I was greeted by a man who was so welcoming, helpful and polite. It was great to talk to him. My room was clean and modern and had the amenities I needed. The breakfast was buffet style with a good choice. I would recommend this hotel because it has a central base in Malmo and is value for money. I enjoyed my brief stay.

The noise from outside was terrible. I have never experienced anything like it. Could not sleep at all until early morning. There are better hotels, chose them. The staff only said it is a nice view as a comment to the noise levels.

Location is great, walking distance to all tourist attractions, lovely square just in front of the hotel, room was clean, breakfast was tasty, staff was very friendly and helpful, we had a fabulous night sleep in a fabulous place in the heart of Malmo.

Scandic Stortorget (room 112) +Very good location, near to everything, train station, restaurants and shopping. +TV, Iron and Har dryer in the room. +Friendly staff. +Good breakfast as in all Scandic hotels. -No refrigerator. -Door was hard to close. -Little cold in the room, radiator was not turned on. +/- No air-condition, but not needed in Sweden most of the time as it doesn't get so hot.

Very nice hotel in the perfect location close to the train station, stortorget and lilla torget, bars and restaurants as well as shopping area (Södergatan). Staff is very helpful, checkin is fast, hotel is ecofriendly and breakfast is delicious. A lot of value for money.
