Grand Circus Hotel

The look of the place is fun, the free bikes and toys are a good addition. However, the showers and toilets are dirty and have big queues, the wagons are scruffy and our window didn't close, paid £5.50 for breakfast which was 1 tiny roll and a small glass of juice!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The theme of the hotel is unique and makes for a really cozy a**osphere. The social a**osphere is also very chill. Whether you like to be alone or with people, you will find that both works very well. Also great for solo travelers, I felt very safe. The kitchen and bathroom spaces were also very clean. If you don’t have a car the nearest bus stop is about 10 minutes by foot, as the address isn’t the actual location, it is about 5 minutes further out from the address. I wasn’t aware of this, so if you are very dependent on public transport be informed.

We were here for overnight. It was one of few offers in Malmö with free parking. It is romantic to sleep in a circus wagon, especially if nobody makes a party outside until late night (we had not such a luck). For a longer stay I would choose only a wagon with private bathroom.

You stay in in a circus van. Ours had bathoom, but check when you book. Get ready that the vans are moving a bit when you move around.

Wir kamen aus Kopenhagen und waren für ein paar Tage im Grand Circus Hotel. Das Team war freundlich und lässig, die A**osphäre sehr familiär. Jeder Zirkuswagen ist individuell gestaltet und thematisch angepasst - z.B. der Wagen der Ballerina, des Zauberers, Fakirs usw. Einige haben ein eigenes WC u. eine kl. Küche, für die anderen stehen gemeinschaftliche Sanitäranlagen sowie eine gemütliche Gemeinschaftsküche mit Speiseraum zur Verfügung. Die Wagen sind auf der Webseite des Hotels gut beschrieben. Wir haben leider nicht darauf geachtet und wurden im Wagen des Schlangenmenschen untergebracht, welcher gemütlich und interessant gestaltet, leider aber auch ziemlich klein war, wir hatten zudem auch noch einen Hund dabei. Man lernt schnell auch die anderen Gäste kennen, es herrschte eine fröhliche und positive Stimmung. Die Zimmer waren sauber u. die Lage des Hotels ist auch unschlagbar. Obwohl das Grand Circus Hotel eher mit einem Campingplatz vergleichbar ist, befindet sich dieses nicht außerhalb im Hinterland, sondern recht zentral. Supermärkte+Einkehrmöglichkeiten sind in der Umgebung vorhanden, das Stadtzentrum ist noch fußläufig erreichbar. Ausflüge ins Umland bieten sich ebenfalls an. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass einen kein Luxushotel erwartet und man bei schlechtem Wetter in einer relativ kleinen Behausung verweilen muss, aber die Unterkunft hat einen einzigartigen Charme - authentisch, alternativ, familiär. Uns hat es jedenfalls gut gefallen, ein absolutes Erlebnis.

Ett coolt roligt litet hotell som består av ett gäng cirkusvagnar. Vi hade en magisk vistelse i vår lilla gröna vagn. Härligt område, fantastiska vagnar och trevlig personal. Vi älskade allt med Grand cirkus hotel

Spezielles Ambiente aber toll, alles sehr locker, freundliches und behilfliches Personal. Saubere und gute Sanitäranlage.Ruhige Lage ca. 3km bis ins Zentrum von Malmö. Zufahrt ist über eine ehem. Industrieanlage.

Fantastiskt koncept. Upplevelsen överträffade förväntningarna. Bästa hotellupplevelsen jag haft. Vilken dröm att få bo i en cirkusvagn. Jag var lika förtjust som barnen som kom för att bo med sina föräldrar. WOW! Att dessutom sängarna var fantastiskt sköna att sova i , det hade vi inte räknat med. Fem stjärnor av fem möjliga.
