I spent three nights in this hotel a while ago. It is a nice hotel with very friendly and helpful young staff. The staff was a clear Five. Hotel rooms were fresh and clean in general. Sleep quality was excellent. Bathroom was clean, maybe a bit small as the shower was directly in front of the toilet, just separated by a shower curtain. There was one clear subject of improvement: The room I choose was Non Smoking (105), BUT cigarette smoke from presumably room 104 entered through the fresh air supply duct to the air condition unit. Very annoying for non-smokers. We are living in the 21st century after all, and even in a very intense old-fashioned smoking "paradise" like Indonesia, non-smoking business travellers should not need to be exposed to smoke inside non-smoking rooms! Rooms with AC-units connected to each other needless to say, must be ALL non-smoking. In general, any modern hotel aiming to attract any customer, should either have non-smoking rooms in general, or effectively separated rooms far away from each other... If the unpleasant smoke experience had not takwn place, I would have given an overall Five. Now only a Four. The owners of the hotel may use my hint as improvement point, and I will consider staying here next time and likely give it a Five.
