This is a well located accommodation with superlative staff. The hotel is dated. The air conditioning did not work well. The soap dispensers were not refilled. Many other details were overlooked. The breakfast was mediocre. There was no fresh fruit.

Stayed here for 6 nights as a base for some cycling. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were a very good size with a nice, comfy bed and the bathroom was clean and also a good size. The bar had a good selection of drinks and the breakfast buffet had a wide range of food to suit everyone.

Good accommodation and service. Big bed and acceptable bathrooms. But the restaurant food is terrible. Ordered a stuffed zucchini. They brought me half a zucchini with a plate full of stale rice (overcooked) with no taste and a badly seasoned sauce. Definitely a disappointment. Breakfast is nice.

Hotel was actually quite nice, the rooms where spacious and it felt contemporary. However, the room was simply not clean. There was a lot of dust everywhere, the shower screen on the bath had scum and stains, all the silicone around the bath was yellow, there was a hair on my bed… just not clean. Also, the pillow was like a joke - a tiny this square pillow! When I entered the room and saw that I though they’d forgotten to put pillows on the bed, imagine! I called reception to ask for a different pillow and thankfully the receptionist was very kind and helpful, and she got me a much nicer one. The hotel staff was very nice (receptionists etc) but the cleanliness of the room really spoiled my stay. This is a 4* hotel, simply not acceptable.

Poor poor service Having booked this hotel via *********** in September for three couples on October 2023. I was cancelled by them a month later. It appears and the explanation is they are a World Cup hotel and us little people and fans just have to put up with it! Looks like profiteering and self interest Poor poor do not book this hotel - they do not respect their guests or care.

Basil Fawlty is alive and well and works here. Nice outdoor space for meals however it was pouring down with rain and many customers were getting wet yet Management did not allow the indoor restaurant and bar to be used so we got cold and wet. The next evening, the indoor bar and restaurant were open but the beer available outside was not available inside. Breakfast slightly chaotic and no black/breakfast tea available.

Well-located, very nice lounge and restaurant facility. Professional staff. Very good experience. Only criticism is that heating system was not constant at one temperature throughout the night--and it was very cold outside!

Room wasn’t ready at noon as advertised but we had a nice cup of coffee while waited, would have been nice if it had been free ! Room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was off a small hall. For the Brits, CNN and France 24 are the English news channels. Really comfortable bed, nice shower and tea tray. Bit weird that they made us ring 3 times for an extra pillow. The first housekeeper came and told us (in French) that we had 4 pillows and that was enough! Unfortunately we only had 3 to start with. Travel to Lille is a short walk to the tram station and 5€ each. The restaurant was good for dinner but not as good as the Best Western (a star lower) we stayed in the night before. Average choice but well cooked and presented. Breakfast was a good choice. Overall a good choice for access to Lille.
