This hotel is terrible and we had such a horrible experience all the way from checking in to checking out. Starting with the front desk lady, she was totally unfriendly and had an attitude. She intentionally placed our two room far away from each other, actually on different floors, because our other friend is a different gender and instructed us that visits are not allowed. This is the weirdest thing I have ever heard in a hotel. And such a treatment is not accepted at all. Check in took so long and when we finally got our our keys, both keys didn’t work to open the room door and we had to walk all way back to the front desk. We requested to change the room and have something closer since we are only staying one night, but the same lady at the front desk insisted that this is the only room available, until her colleague stepped in to help when he heard how fierce we were. He gave a closer room immediately. We then waited 30 minutes at the new room to get our luggage, and after 4 calls to the front desk we finally got the bags. The room we got was very hot, the shower had strands of hair on the floor, and the pillows were weary. But since we wasted about 1.5 hours to check in we decided that we will go to the beach to have some fun. The beach is far from the hotel so they offer a golf cart to take you there. We requested one at the concierge, but nothing was available. They asked as to wait. So we decided to walk to the beach to save time. The staff at the beach were too tired they can barely smile to you. Honestly, we felt bad for them but at the same time we felt not welcomed. Upon leaving the beach, the towel desk refused to take one of our towels because it had tanning oil on it. And didn’t give us the towel card back which cost 300E£. The guy at the desk asked us to take the towel to the front desk at the hotel for evaluation. This is totally weird. It is a beach, everybody is using tanning products. And it is also weirder that the front desk is the one to evaluate the towels. Now again the golf cart we requested never showed up at the beach so we had to walk back to the hotel. Upon passing by the front desk we requested a universal adapter so we can charge our phones and use our personal hair dryer. They said they will send it to our room but of course we didn’t receive anything. The shower drainage at the bathroom was totally blocked, and I had to step into the dirty water of my friend who showered before me. Adding to that the hot AC and dirty room. At this point we packed our bags and decided to leave the hotel. The duty manager Mr. Mostafa refused that we leave the hotel, and wanted to make it up for us, so they gave us an upgrade to a suite. They said the suite will be ready when we come back at night because they want to make sure the AC is cold, and they promised to put our luggage in the room once it is ready. I came back about 5 hours later. Our luggage was still at the lobby. The front desk guy had no idea about the suite we were
