The overall hotel looks great! However the room given must have been an older one as it looked nothing like the images that had incited me to book 2 rooms for. Business trip.
Actually smelt old.
Bathroom though had been modernised with a wet room and was great.
Staff were excellent.
Didn't have a steam iron! Just dry irons which meant I had to wet a towel to dampen the clothing before ironing taking double the time.

Super comfortable and welcoming stay at Hotel Anker. The location was great, the room spacious and well equipped with large comfortable bed. The wine shop superb and the evening meal outstanding. Breakfast in a courtyard or bright room served elegantly with excellent choice of self service options. Situated in the heart of the old town we visited the Blue House with its exhibitions and a great little pharmacy museum literally next door. We loved this hotel and Marktheidenfeld too.

What a wonderfully friendly experience. Hotel Anker is a classy family run hotel with a wonderful restaurant as well. I was made to feel so welcome, even though I arrived a bit early. The room was lovely and modern despite the old world charm of the building itself. Just ten mins drive from the outlet mall and half an hour from Wurzburg, the hotel is located right on the middle of a quaint small town for a real authentic German experience. I loved it

wir sind erst am späten abend angereist, wurden aber sehr freundlich empfangen und bis zum zimmer begleitet. leider hatten wir bei der abreise etwas persönliches im zimmer vergessen. dies haben wir per mail mitgeteilt und wurde es uns umgehend OHNE zusätzliche kosten zugeschickt. jederzeit übernachten wir gerne wieder da.

Ein bekanntes Hotel das wir schon vor vor einem Vierteljahrhundert besucht haben. Sowohl das Hotel als auch das angeschlossene Restaurant zeichnen sich durch eine beständige Qualität aus. Für den anspruchsvollen Individualreisenenden - nichts für den Reisenden der die Uniformität der internationalen Hotellerie vorzieht.
