Elouera Tower

Was a bit tricky to get here from the airport and there is no 24 hour reception so you need to have an Aussie number so you can call for help to get in. Gorgeous views of the ocean. Close to cotton tree shops and restaurants.

Location and views – absolutely fantastic! The bed and pillows were super comfy, and it was so relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Everywhere we walked in the apartment, we were greeted with stunning ocean views stretching for kilometers. It was a great bonus to have a free undercover car park. The beach is clean, patrolled, and never too crowded, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. Plus, the area isn’t too busy with traffic, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!

We love staying at the Elouera Tower, the staff are always very welcoming, the apartments are so spacious & have everything you need including beautiful ocean views, the facilities are great with the sauna, spa, pool and tennis court, the beach is directly across the road for easy access. It’s a short walk to the Surf Club and down to the shops at Cotton Tree The bus stops out the front for travelling up and down the coast, the Elouera Tower is in a great location making it the perfect place to holiday. 5 Stars

We had a room about level 7 with an uninterrupted 180 degree Ocean view. We could see the ships on the horizon, up to 10 at a time, coming and going. A set of binoculars would have provided better identification, so take some with you. Closer up the beach and waves with locals seemed a popluar place to be. There was a good walk along the path north with some interesting spots and not too far from Sunshine Plaza, the big shopping centre in Marrochydore. The 2 bedroom apartment was great, plenty of self catering utensils and equipment if needed, we had a good time for the 5 days/nights..

Congrats to the staff . Easy to get in after late arrival. Customer service on phone fast and efficient. I left my handbag out the front on arrival and it was put on the reception . Very grateful. Then my sister lost jewellery and it was found in the garden. When I emailed the reply was fast and efficient. Jewellery was also found and returned. Thanks Jo on reception forever grateful

The website claimed that the property was close to shops and restaurants. The situation was not close to anything except a couple of restaurants and a bakery which was very nice. There were no maps available to local eateries, shops etc. While the apartment was clean, it was very tired. There was nothing left in it (apart from one small packet of laundry powder and the smallest bottle of milk in the world! ) Had to buy my own dishwashing liquid, laundry powder, and rubbish bags. The rubbish room was on the ground floor and we were asked to dispose of all rubbish prior to departure or we would be charged $100! The whole time I was there the swipe card for after hours access at the front entrance did not work so had to walk a few yards down the street (in the dark) to access the back entrance. Not ideal. There was no information available on local attractions, trips, activities. The receptionists were not helpful when asking for advice as to how to get to places, how to call a taxi (my NZ mobile would not work on the local number). Fortunately I have an Uber app so used Ubers which were great. The pool was closed for a day (without notice). Wifi was intermittent and not reliable at all. I had a wonderful time on my break but that was due to my pre-planning prior to the trip. I would not recommend this property. Jane
