Had a very enjoyable stay at this riad- the courtyard full of beautiful greenery and a small pool feels so very peaceful and soothing, providing a complete shield from the rush&madness of Marrakech streets! :) The room was also lovely (stayed in Menzeh Jour Suite)- many authentic architectural features but not ‘over the top’, which was a great fit for us. Very Spacious, comfortable and practical. The staff were all absolutely lovely and caring; looking after us very well! Namely Mohamed- the House Manager was fantastic!! Very friendly and helpful- he helped us arrange various things such as private guide, trip to desert, etc. even prior arrival; transportation and overall support with getting around or anything you may need once arrived; and caring- he would personally wait until all his guests return to the riad late at night to ensure everyone gets the support they might need, quite unseen! Mohamed is an absolute superstar and a great asset to the business!
Overall a wonderful experience, absolutely recommended and would definitely come back!!

This was truly a great stay. I am so glad that I happened to stumble across this Riad when planning a trip with my friends to Marrakech. Tucked away into the Medina, Zaouia 44 was perfect for us. The place itself is very cool and feels quite authentic, however, the best part of the stay was the staff (thanks Mohamed). Truly the best guy. I could not have asked for a better staff member to give us the run down on Marrakech while also making the best tea! Mohamed is the man and honestly I'd go back just to see him again!! Stay here you won't regret it.

Very kind team in a lovely place! We enjoyed our stay a lot ! The food was great and the team did his best to make our stay special. The rooftop is amazing and a very good place to enjoy few chill time away from the city bubbling. The patio room is lovely maybe better in summer because it was a bit cold but still perfect for us

Amazing place to stay, kind and caring staff. The room and the common space were nice and clean, dinner and breakfast excellent, we enjoyed also the hammam, and Mohamed and his staff have all the best suggestions for your holyday in Marrakech

The stuff was so lovely and helpful. Breakfast is home made and fresh. I totally recommend this Riad! Feels like home away from home. The place is so beautiful and calm. Rooms are very spacious. We had dinner at the riad and the food was delicious!

This was an oasis of beauty, calm, coolness and the warmest of welcomes. Well located to reach all the sights. Mohamed, the manager, was wonderful. He especially made time to give us a talk on what to avoid in Marrakesh. As 3 women travelers, we were very glad to understand this. The tagines suppers at the Riad were wonderful. We loved the rooftop terraces as well as the Riad courtyard and dip pool. The only tricky thing was finding the door when we arrived as it had no number or sign. However, all the locals knew and we quickly found our way. Top place to stay.

We didn't initially book at Riad Zaouia 44 for our stay, but were placed there when our originally booked riad contacted us to tell us that they hadn't been cleared for occupancy yet since the earthquake. Honestly, we probably wouldn't have chosen Riad Zaouia 44 based on the pictures, which looked a little plain and sterile compared to other riads with more colorful and detailed pictures. But WOW. How wrong we would have been, This Riad was GORGEOUS and had such a feeling of luxury. Our host, Mohamed, was so accommodating and kind. A wonderful example of Moroccan hospitality. The guest rooms/bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The courtyard is lush with greenery and feels like an oasis from the busy, dusty city streets. This Riad is a little difficult to find, but worth the effort. Thank you Mohamed, for a wonderful stay!

We were 3 girls and stayed 4 days at zaouia 44. The riad is plenty of charm, the patio and the rooms are quiet which is contrasting with the effervescence of the medina. We ate the best moroccan dishes of our life at the hoteI. Last but not least, we were hosted by Mohamed (our contact at the hotel), who really took care of us: he gave us real recommendation, helped us to find great excursions, and was very kind. I recommend this hotel without hesitation. My next trip would be there again, this is sure.

Beautiful Riad, nice pool and big rooms, tasty breakfast and friendly people. A little bit outside of touristic Medina, rather in a local surrounding located. Overall recommend for a stay in Marrakesch
