Located in the heart of the Kasbah district, this place give you much more of a locals experience. This place is a boutique hotel with a very personal touch and all of the staff are personable and attentive. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. We used the rooftop terrace hot tub one night and they served us with mint tea! The breakfast is simple and delicious, with an assortment of jams, spreads and various breads. We enjoyed the kitchen’s freshly made omelettes. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Makassar. Especially the friendly staff made us feel very welcome and at home. The breakfast is great and varies from day to day, and the room was beautifully decorated. The restaurant is also very good and the entertainment during dinner was excellent.

This hotel offers a different take on the Riad experience by decorating and dressing every part of their building in an art deco style. From the lift buttons to the coffee tables everything is in keeping with that design ethos, resulting in a place that feels stylish and sophisticated. The overall colour scheme of creams and browns may look a little muted compared to the tessalated tiles and tropical planting you’ll see in other places in Marrakesh but it feels calm and relaxed. With two raids knocked into one, there’s plenty of space and even a reasonable sized (and heated!) swimming pool! The location, at the end of Rue de la Kasbar still feels pretty central, even if it isn’t right in the centre of the city. The staff were all great too. It’s not fair to single any individuals out because everyone was welcoming and helpful from the manageress to Najat who keep our room spotless but also went to great trouble to provide extra padding on our mattress for my wife who was recovering from a back operation. Stay here with confidence.

The service from start to finish was impeccable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. When we arrived, they did not have a room with two separate beds for me and my sister. However, the next day they moved us to a room with two separate beds . The food at the restaurant was amazing!! And you must try out their Hamman. The rooms were very clean. Beautiful hotel!!

The hotel is incredible; we had so much fun dressing up and enjoying the striking design and Art Deco references (we stayed in le Mondrian!). We also enjoyed an intimate but lively meal with a live piano concert as well as an incredible afternoon meal on the vast roof top where you can sunbathe after the bustle of the city. Having stayed in the Souks before, I loved exploring more of the Kasbah and it was convenient to reach so many of the key places to visit. The staff were so attentive and kind so I'd love to go back.

Homely and welcoming feel. Facilities aren't congested giving you almost exclusive use of whatever you wish to use (i.e. pool, rooftop, hammam, common areas etc.). Staff are very friendly and amenable to all requests including flexibility with meals and organising transportation / tours.

Hotel was exceptional, great location, clean and every single member of staff excelled in service provided. We were personally greeted every day and attention to detail was high standard. My partner found the bed a little hard for his liking but I slept very well. Food was superb and catered for on an individual basis, Totally relaxed post the hammam treatment - would highly recommend staying here.

Wow, wow, wow... speaking about hidden gems, this one is Marrakech's Koh-i-Noor. All you have to do is open a discreet door to immerse yourself in one of the most memorable hotel experiences in the world. The owner has gathered the most extraordinary collection of unique art deco pieces and used them to build 10 unique rooms which bear the names of those who furnish them... and we've been blessed to sleep in a suite that would normally fill a full Ruhlmann room in a museum. As if that was not enough, this team raises the hospitality standards to artistic levels.
