As soon as you go into the revolving door you are hit by a clean fresh sent. The hotel downstairs feels modern and clean. Check in was quick and easy and we got a free complementary cocktail each as it was our first time staying at Moxy. Our room was brilliant with motion lighting under the bed and switches at the bed side for other soft lights. The view of the lake and fountain was great. Perfect location to the NEC Birmingham and across the lake you have lots of eateries. We would stay here again if ever going to the NEC.

Enjoyed our stay here, the room was clean and had everything we needed. Checking in took a while, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

I loved this Hotel from the moment I saw it beaming off of the Lake. First thoughts upon entering are "This place is ME" I was immediately at ease, it's a 5 Star feel that doesn't bring out 5 Star entitled vibes from the staff or the guests. It's chill, it's comforting and yet it's completely Zen, even down to the hand drawn quotes in chalk on the bathroom doors.
The lighting has to be the stand out feature of this hotel for me tho, because it's that kind of lighting that just makes your mind switch to vibe mode from absolute get go!
The staff are second to non too - especially the Assistant Manager, she's so unbelievably hip that I half expected her to come skating in on a cloud of vape smoke, playing a Ukulele. She's absolutely awesome!
I ducked 1 Star for Amenities because the rooms do ideally need a phone, IM system or something, oh and the Whiskey selection was very amateur hour. Yet these 2 reasons pale drastically in comparison to the overall impressiveness of this hotel, this experience, this vibe.
