There is no doubt that this is a spectacular former palace. You can wonder it’s public rooms, view the art work and gape at the chandeliers, but it is lacking as a hotel. I fortunately, had a substantially-sized room, but others in my group were not so fortunate. They had cramped, little spaces, with steps to the bathroom (an accident waiting to happen). My room was more a suite, with a modern bathroom, and an odd layout. There was scant lighting and rare outlets. Had to unplug lamps in order to charge devices. There is no restaurant, and a skimpy breakfast. The location is near nothing. I was on my own, and after dark I was not willing to venture many blocks to a restaurant. I ended up pleading a couple of yogurts from the desk personnel. This was not an acceptable location. The next day, the hotel was all set up for a professional meeting. I venture to say that meeting are a better use for this unusual property. With only 14 room, you are likely to get an unsuitable one.
