Cool staying inside a cave! But inside is very modern with everything one could need. Super quiet and comfortable and clean. Wonderful, friendly receptionists. Great view of the Sassi. Several delish restaurants steps away.

OMG what a gem of a find.....dont even look elsewhere! Simply the best view in town, the most comfortable bed I had in the Puglia area; clean rooms and very helpful friendly staff (Maria Antonella always ready to assist); so enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop and evening drinks/snacks. I stayed in the Ui Momm room. Was dropped off by my tour guide from Ostuni who carried my bags for about 10 minutes and on departure a driver from the area picked me up at the hotel. Stay 2 nights, lots to see - the most fascinating place ever! cannot recommend highly enough.

Such a fabulous experience staying in a cave hotel that had been so beautifully converted, everything was perfect!! The a**osphere and attention to detail are exceptional and we all loved staying here. Very comfortable beds and shower was so fantastic. Location is amazing and views are the best you can experience in the area. The breakfast was simple considering the standard of the hotel but with views and experience we were very happy. Don’t hesitate in booking here, you won’t regret it!

Personally I feel this hotel is in the best location in Matera, the views are incredible. Everywhere is walkable, restaurants in your doorstep and a beautiful terrace to have breakfast and watch the swifts circling overhead. Breakfast was perfect in every way, local delicacies, savoury and sweet combined with fresh coffee

This hotel was amazing by any standards. We stayed in a cave room. The bed was the most comfortable we had in Italy. The shower was amazing and the room had every amenity you could want. Luxurious robes and towels. The hotel service was personal and special. They provided lots of information regarding restaurants, tours and parking. We only stayed one night and had to depart early. The night before they brought a huge spread of pastries and fruit to our room for the morning. Did I mention the welcome drink and view? Our only disappoin**ent is that we only stayed one night. Matera and this hotel deserve a longer visit.

My fiancé and i had an incredible experience at this property - we wished we had stayed longer than just one night! We were welcomed with welcome drinks up on the rooftop overlooking the beautiful Sassi di Matera. The staff was so friendly and helpful with recommendations as needed. The room we stayed in was a cave room - so cool and updated with AC and everything! Our room was near the reception which initially had us nervous but it was actually very quiet. We loved the walkability and the convenience! The parking situation - which could have been difficult with the rules of cars in Matera - was made very simple with scheduled departures and felt very safe. Overall, we had a great experience and only complaint is that we wish we stayed longer! Thank you to the kind staff here as well.

The best and most romantic stay at this ultra modern boutique hotel built inside real caves and a terrace view of Sassi to die for. Outstanding location, super clean, large rooms with every possible amenity, awesome breakfast and very very nice staff. We would come back again and May be spend a whole week

Wow - just wow. This was the most wonderful hotel. The staff were really helpful in organising transport from an out of town car park to the door. Fantastic position overlooking the town from a terrace where a buffet breakfast was served. Drinks and snacks also available at the rooftop bar. Our room was huge with a glass floor over archeological area of the town and had a huge shower room in the rock. It was cool and super comfortable. Also great value compared to other luxury hotels in the town.

We spent two nights in this amazing city and had a wonderful experience. Maria Antonella and Antonella were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our room had a breathtaking view of the city and the ravine. We started each day with a delicious breakfast on the patio of the Crialoss Bistro, overlooking the city. The hotel's location is perfectly situated for exploring the local sights and restaurants. We could not have had a better time. We highly recommend this hotel!
