Overall the property was nice. Had a great view but couldn't open windows for fresh air due to cigarette smell coming from below & couldn't put ceiling fan on as the were filthy.
Was surprised with the amount of children that had a free for all on the golf green & fairway. Throwing sand & digging into the grass.
I guess if management are ok with this then its obviously allowed.

The staff are excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful.location is excellent. It’s close to tourist attractions, has an indoor pool and is sited on a golf course. Has a bistro with a good range of food.

Quality rooms and facilities. Great swimming pool, spa and gym. Great access to local shops and only minutes to Victor Harbor town centre

Beautiful location , hotel is dated and badly in need of refurb , our room had mould on the netting at curtains and big stains over the floor that smelt abit , bar and bistro needs updated and windows need cleaned all around hotel , for a country club you would expect the hotel to be in better condition

While I appreciate it was a last minute booking and busy time of year, the room rate was very high given the amenities. TV the size of a computer monitor, a rat in the outside balcony area, bathroom basin that kept filling up. Almost $500 a night for a twin share.

We found McCracken a beautiful spot to stay. The staff were very helpful and positively friendly. The views were divine.

Our hotel room was great, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the living room was great, the service was great as well. The staff were very friendly. One of my kids favorites is the swimming pool, I loved how the pool was deep enough for my daughter to swim and the spa was good for my son since the pool was to deep. The sauna was great. Overall I'm very happy with my 2nd stay at McCracken Hotel.

Staff super friendly. Excellent pool, sauna:spa gym . Very clean . Lovely views. Only issue we had was hearing the room next door. Definitely stay here again.
