Leuk hotel, rustige locatie, echt voor als je weg wilt uit de drukte. Warme welkom en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Kamers redelijk groot en lekker bed. Beetje verouderd maar voor de prijs is dat wel ok. Jammer dat het stinkt naar honden omdat deze gewoon welkom zijn in het hotel. Verder top ervaring.

Outdated, room was not completely clean (dust, spiders at the ceiling) No proof, but we also think they have bedbugs as a lot of other hotels recently

Many aspects of this hotel irritated me. I arrived at 6:30pm on a Saturday to find the reception closed and a notice telling me to contact another hotel, to then ride 2 villages away to get my room keys! I rode there only to be told that a colleague had taken the keys to my hotel! What a shambolic and infuriating waste of time.
Why had I not been informed of this arrangement, or of the reception open hours before arrival? The hotel had my details because I received multiple emails and WhatsApp messages about other services available and the checkout process, and a demand for taxes I hadn’t paid because I’d never been formally checked in!
Room itself was an attic up steep stairs and had a terrible shower-over-bath facility under the low eaves.

The hotel is simple but great to stay at. We had a very big room (nr. 28), on the ground floor so ideal for elderly or people who can't climb stairs. The breakfast was decent enough. The garden at the back where you can have a drink overlooks the pastures. A great view. Service was excellent. Would definitely go again.

I stayed here as part of a group holiday from 'SNP Natuurreizen'. The location is great for walking and cycling. I liked the wall paintings, the garden and the small aviary in the courtyard. The personnel was very friendly and accommodating. I had a nice room with a view on the courtyard and (over the opposite roof) to the hills. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed good dinners at Geulhof Mechelen, since the dining area was closed (for refurbisment, as I understood it).
