Hotele niedaleko Medan Train Station, Medan

Since we was from kualanamu airport, this hotel is very convenient for us, we using railink which is the stasion is on 2nd floor, we just used lift to the hotel on 3rd floor. And we were going to Rantau Prapat using Sri bilah train which the stasion just below. What a suitable hotel, isn't it? They also have freezer if we need to store meal. And u can borrow hairdryer if u need it. One things that i regret is, Now they dont have compliment instant noodle in the room. Overall, the hotel is good. We like it.

its a walking distance to centre point mall and subway station. got mixue cafe and mart in front of the hotel. the bedding was so comfortable and soft. the check in process quite fast. appreciate that. hot water and shower also nice. they got spa for massage with cheap price plus 100 thousand IDR discount voucher for the spa. but i wish, the spa staff would give some private time for customer during changing clothes and shower time after the massage instead of cleaning and setting up the room, walking in and out while customer changing. it was kind of disrespectful to me that i dont want to repeat the service. also my whole session should be 90 minutes (traditional massage ) & ear candling (45 minutes). start at 12.20 pm but end at 2 pm. so definitely not recommended if you want to pay for the correct amount of time you get. the hotel do have storage service for luggage just in case you want to go out / to the mall after check out time before going back to the airport. I will repeat the stay but not the spa service.

deSatu hotel, located at complex central point mall, medan, sumatra utara ... Good hotel, the room is nice, very clean, tidy, complete emenities, refill drinking water outside the room, deposite box inside the room, except there's no fridge ... Strong shower, cool aircond, comfort bed/pillow/linen...

We only stayed at this hotel because we were attending a wedding reception being held there. I have stayed in more than 150 hotels around the world and for the first time I was required to pay a refundable deposit for a remote control for the A/C. The bathroom is exceedingly tiny. My cat couldn't swing a cat in it. There was no hot water at 5:00pm after we had travelled 5 hours to get there and really needed to freshen up. On our way to dinner, I asked at reception about this and was told that due to ”technical problems” we could only have hot water from 6 - 8AM and from 6 - 8PM. I explained that I did not know about this. The receptionist then showed me a document that I had not seen nor been shown when checking in that explained the situation. I suggested that guests should be informed about this when checking in. Miraculously, the 'technical problems' were resolved the following morning. The staff were not aware of what was happening at the property. We asked if there was live music. The receptionist directed us to two venues on the property, but each was closed. Only the disco was open. The food in the restaurant was mediocre at best. They try to do this barbeque thing at the table, but it fails to deliver. There were plenty of plates, cups, glasses and so on, but only one spoon. There's no light above the cabinet where you make tea or prepare snacks etc. The light above the makeup / grooming mirror was not working. They clearly don't check that everything is working when they clean the rooms. The furniture, carpets, cabinetry, wall coverings etc are very dated. However, the bed was comfortable and the wall covering behind the bed was relatively new. There's no safe in the room. I know that safes are expense and there are always technical problems, but pretty much every property that says it's 4-star has a room safe. The worst part from a safety perspective is that the elevator doors close within a very short time. I injured my arm as the door closed on me within 5 or so seconds and hit me quite hard. A petite granny could have been seriously injured. No-one seems to care. It's an obvious problem and should have been fixed. The restaurant did not stock beer or wine or any other alcoholic beverage. It's a property that management doesn't seem to care about. The staff are helpful, willing, courteous and respectful, but not properly trained. This is a sign that management or ownership doesn't give a toss.

Looked for a budget place to remain over night near medan rail station its not so easy due to hotel rate sorrounding are hi rates. Lucky for me there is cordela that suit with the budget and more low if we booked from hotel website. The hotel is very friendly and helpful. Receptionist are already arranged the room that follow my request, such as hi floor, double bed, view, and smoking room. The room is clean, compact, cool air con, and nice tv channels. Elevator is running well. Nice and various breakfast options. Hotel location also near pirngadi central hospital. In ground level there is 24 hours small convenience store. This year the hotel conduct lucky draw for legoland at jb (hoping i win the prize). Brief summary if you looking for friendly national chain hotel in medan this is it.

Everything was good at Grand City Hall.Stayed at their apartment and was spacious even when had guest visiting us.The wifi was pretty good which was important to us.The only complain that I had was the selection of TV channels was limited.More to the Indonesian with too many Ads. Overall,the stayed was splendid.Hope they continue with their good work.

We were in Medan just for a couple of nights and the Kama hotel suited our budget. Since Medan is a city full of hotels and there's always something to suit everyone's budget, I feel some of the poor reviews on Kama Hotel was unjustified. The room was clean... felt secure... beds were comfortable... bathroom clean and modern. The buffet breakfast was included in the price and it was nothing flash but pretty good for a budget hotel. Will definitely book again if we visit Medan again!

the stay quite nice, washroom and hot water also work properly. fast wifi, and fast check in process. also love that they have massage spa inside the hotel with affordable price but as a malaysian , i would say, its quite cheap when they give you a discount voucher. if you dont really want to go out, you can order the room service food which also quite big in portion (for me) and the tempe goreng with the sambal sauce was so nice. In front of the hotel , got several private taxi service (suv car) with a range of price like 1 million IDR to Parapat(lake toba) & 700 thousand IDR to siantar.Just in case you had last minute plan to go to danau toba and didnt book any supir in advance The only thing that i wish they change is the bath towel. Please change it to the new and softer one. all the thread is coming out from the towel.

I stayed here 4-nights for a conference that’s also happening in this hotel. So many things have gone wrong and enough reasons for me not coming back. 1. The reception (or should I said “deception”?), misguided me. They said my room is upgraded to Premiere room, with complimentary afternoon tea, and minibar. More about this below. 2. Went to the room but nothing special, also the weird furniture placement makes the room smaller. Room has view but mostly just building roofs. Appreciate the giant shower head though. 3. Went for afternoon tea with my business colleague and the waitress said I’m not eligible for the complimentary. She said the receptionist made a mistake. Fine. 4. Got a call from reception, she said that Ieft my ID card at the reception. Which can be avoided if she did not forget to pass the ID card back after she copied it in. Went back to reception to get my ID card, and ask the reception about the afternoon tea to confirm whether I’m eligible or not. She said not and the minibar also not free unfortunately. Thank God I haven’t eat anything from the minibar 5. Breakfast at level 3 is unorganized, chaotic, and basically madness without crowd control. However I managed to get to the level 10 which is more quiet. Food quality is average. 6. I realized an item missing from the minibar, I did not consume them at all. I called in the operator and they were like “are you sure you’re staying alone, Sir?” I’m like… unbelieveable, why don’t you check with the housekeeping if they removed it or else? I just don’t want it to be billed on my room charge. I know it’s just a potato chip that I could easily replace from minimart, but imagine if they took other items and then billed it to your room. 7. The only nice experience I had in this hotel is the dinner, food surprisingly decent. Also the service is nice (maybe because we were the only customers?). Oh and concierge staffs also very helpful keeping my deliveries and helping me with my stuff when I checked out without me asking.

actually i didn't expect more than this hotel,and it seems that this hotel didn't expect much either.the position of the hotel is indeed being a central city,but the surrounding environment is indeed surrounded by residents'homes. i stayed in a studio type room 16 which was the biggest type when viewed from the application where i booked,but it turned out that the size of the room was still relatively narrow. the bathroom in the room is also very narrow and the positioning of the curtain for bathing even makes the bathroom narrower. The hallway to the room also has no air conditioning and no lift while my room is on the 3rd floor so it can imagine a mix between tired and hot during going to the room. Another thing I would like to discuss is breakfast in the morning with frozen food, so the hotel provides a freezer containing frozen food bottled and we chose our breakfast directly. After that the clerk will cook it with micowave. this is my first time staying in a hotel with such a breakfast system. i don't know if this kind of system is good or not,but this system makes me feel that this hotel is indeed allocated for “emergency” travelers who want to be practical and fast. Fortunately the reception and the hotel staff including the security guard were so friendly that at least there was one good little thing I could praise from this hotel.
