Four Seasons Hotel Megeve

Overall service was ok. Not the best luxury ski resort hotel if u want to relax and enjoy your holiday. Nothing was provided for in the room and the apres ski service was not a luxury ski resort hotel standard….

Great hotel! The hotel itself is a far walk from the village, but the hotel has their own private car/shuttle to take and pick you up to the main center. Great breakfast and room service selection with delicious food. Our room has a great balcony that had a view of their own little animal “farm”. We changed our room to a bigger one with more space and a larger seating area with a sofa which was better for us.

Most impolite staff I have ever met in Megève. Went to a hotel which I thought it would be classy, but the staff is very impolite, also the manager. Above that I have paid 31 euro for a simple glass of wine. Never again! Not my recommendation for sure.

Great hotel with exceptional staff and service. Ski in ski out from our ground floor balcony. Never seen such disciple and helpful staff like the ski room staff. They really cared about our experience and enjoyment. Highly recommendation. It’s not a 5 stars because of the food options and selection as I thought they can do better.

The hotel is fantastic, so beautiful and the service is great up to the Four Seasons standard. They have a free shuttle to the village that runs on request which is great. The pool area is so nice, breakfast is lovely with all the homemade pastries. We have tried only the bar restaurant which was also nice. My husband enjoyed the cigar room and my kids loved the teen zone!

We are very loyal to the Four Seasons, with expectations to match and this hotel did not disappoint. We choose a combination of the south of France and a week in the mountains. Arriving at the Four Seasons in the middle of another sweltering summer heatwave in Europe was a total relief. The spa is beyond heavenly. That is the only word for it. Glorious setting and views, beautiful and utterly pristine with the best massages in a cocoon of utter luxury. My teenage girls loved the cool and super tech gym, teen zone and pools. The restaurants offered great vegetarian and vegan options, and we all loved the outside pool, and the service is to die for. So many activities inside and outside, you will never tire of the place in any season quite literally. We had great rooms, and the most wonderful time. The service here sets it apart. We will definitely be back!

Great room with wonderful bath view. The service was impeccable. The breakfast delicious and a nice touch was the hot chocolate with chocolate lollipops. It was nice that they also sold us the tickets to get to the telepherique. That saved us time.

We love going to Alps in the summer, and Four Seasons Megeve has been the best hotel I have stayed in for various reasons. Its mountain location and closeness to all outdoor activities makes it an obvious choice. You can start your outdoor biking or hiking right outside your door. They have regular shuttle services to the town which is lively with plenty to do. Beautiful pool for some rest and great views all around. The building and rooms are also lovely. Hotel concierge took care of all our needs and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The few negatives are choice of food and room service menu which are rather limited. They need to have more choices for kids and families staying more than a few days. Also lack of power outlets in convenient places in the room and shampoo bottles and soap not being restocked caused minor headaches. It is 2023, who uses small plastic shampoos in hotel rooms anymore. Just put environment friendly containers in. These small issues are nothing compared to the good times you will have though, so enjoy your stay.

We are a family of 4 adults staying in Mejeve. When I found out there was a FS hotel I decided to book a spa day. I called and explained we would like a spa day and lunch to relax. On arrival we were shown to the changing rooms and part of the pool area was visible through glass doors. We changed and went to the pool. It’s small! There are approximately 10 loungers around the pool, a water bottle with paper cups and a hot pot filled with mint tea, all self service. I went to reception to order drinks and food but was told we would have to get dressed, go upstairs to the bar for lunch. We spent a maximin of 1 hour laid by the small pool as there was no way to spend a day there so we left. The bill came to over €350 for 3 adults for less than 1 hour at a pool. I would have never booked had I know how small the area was and how little there was available. I have visited many FS hotels as a staying guest and also done many spa days. This was the worst experience! I felt it was a money grabbing exercise and if you are considering it please do not go. It is extortionate for what is available. I have since complained to the manager only to be offered the standard “complimentary return” but when there is so little do do why would we return? The reason we left was boredom. I can see if you are staying at the hotel it would be nice to spend 10 minutes bobbing in warm water but the pool isn’t big enough to swim in. It’s definitely not worthy of the “spa day” price point.
