Hotel Boutique Casa San Angel

El restaurante es pequeño pero muy ameno y agradable. La comida muy rica. Todos los empleados del hotel estuvieron siempre muy atentos a nuestras necesidades, lo cual me gustó mucho su actitud de servicio. Siempre se mostraron muy amables y prácticamente siempre nos encontraban una solución. El hotel ubicado en una parte muy tranquila. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

This is our second stay at the hotel and our experience was fantastic. From checking in to checking out. Exceptional service from front desk as well as cleaning services and the restaurant. The hotel and our room was very clean and quaint in a very traditional Mexican theme. The staff are friendly and polite as well as helpful. The location is great and walking distance to Centro and the upmarket restaurant quarter called Calle Gastronomica.

This hotel is truly a gem! Housed in a historic building, right on Paseo Montejo, this is a boutique hotel that doesn´t cost like one. I felt like I was at home, the staff were all very friendly and they quickly learned how I like my morning coffee. I want everyone to have this experience when in Merida. On the other hand ... it´s a well kept secret.

Gorgeous shaded courtyard and lounges full plants, the central fountain, beautiful wall paintings. Very helpful management and staff. Great location too- would definitely stay there again.

I love the staff, including Angel, Roberto, Elwina, Willy, Felipe, Angelica, Jorge and all the cooking and cleaning staff that I did not meet by name. They were so kind, especially to this woman traveling alone.

Gorgeous lounge areas— trees and potted plants and tropical themed wall paintings. A really relaxing environment.

Likes - We stayed in Hotel Boutique Casa San Angel one night only. The hotel is beautiful, when entreing the internal courtyard feels like you entered a jungle, with loads of tress, plants, birds... magnificent really! The room was on the first floor, it was spacious, beautifully decorated (ne of the best we have seen, really), provided with fridge, air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very big, clean, and the shower probably one of the best of our 14 days tour around the Yucatan peninsula The wi-fi worked perfectly. They also have a secure parking 5min. from the hotel. I was a bit concerned the location was a bit far from the city centre but actually we realised that this is not very far (about 20min walk). The streets between the hotel and the city centre are actually full of restaurants and cool bars, so in reality we had a lot of choices for dinner just round the corner Improvements - I think the breakfast could be improved in regard to quality and quantity. Personal suggestion is to not book the breakfast at the hotel and head out to the nearest cafe, you can have much more choices and more value for money

Very courteous and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious and sits right on Paseo Montejo

The hotel itself was fine but unwary travellers need to be aware that the parking is away from the hotel. This was a bit of a headache as you have to go to the hotel to get someone to open up each time. Whilst the breakfast was nice it was limited and we were led to believe that the restaurant would be open but it was not in the evenings (there are other options locally).
