Colima 71 Art - Community - Hotel

A fantastic hotel, could not recommend more highly! The location is perfect, right on one of the best streets in Roma Norte, next to so many cool shops, restaurants, cafes etc. The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are huge and super well equipped, and the staff so friendly and efficient and helpful. You don’t miss the lack of restaurant, as there are so many amazing options on your doorstep and the breakfast is fab. Thank you for such a great stay!

Beautiful hotel with inspiring design. Very clean, with plenty of filtered and bottled water available. Wonderful and helpful staff. Great location (quiet and walking distance from great restaurants and bars in Roma Norte). The breakfast from Rosetta is clutch. I would highly recommend!

What a find ! I was so fortunate that the hotel i intended to stay in was fully booked. Sometimes you just stumble upon delightful hotels and this was one of those occasions. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left i was made to made feel so welcome at this lovely modern boutique hotel. The location is fantastic, the hotel is situated in the middle of one of the hippest and most fun parts of. Mexico City particularly on Sunday when the boutiques and cafes are thronging with people and artists ply their creations on the street. Look at for an amazing bakery a few blocks down too. The rooms are contemporary, large and airy ( small studio apartments with kitchens and lovely bathrooms you could easily call your home if you need to stay in the city for a while). Little things they do make your stay special. Attention to detail is phenomenal with beautiful comfy beds and linen, interesting tea flavours, luxurious bathroom soap an honourary bar, delicious chocolates on your pillow, and mescal in your room. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff who are anxious to share with you their restaurant recommendations and things to do. Breakfast is served beautifully in lovely plates, tea arrives with candles to keep it warm… I only stayed three nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. By the end I felt I was part of the family- the manager Anthony is so friendly and genuinely interested in his guests enjoying their stay. The man who bought me breakfast was lovelt and so helpful, every day my room was tidied so beautifully ( probably the best I’ve ever had in any hotel anywhere) - the beautiful ladies on reception were so welcoming and kind too. Do not hesitate to book here you wont be disappointed, I can not wait to return.

“The best hotel experience we’ve ever had,” said my wife last night as we ate some delicious elevated tacos at a place called Tinze just four blocks away, I couldn’t agree more. We’re veteran travelers who live in Los Angeles and Hawaii. Hawaii is paradise and there are some pretty amazing hotels there, but they pale in comparison to Colima 71, both in the stylish modern decor and the incredible service. In the same way that you can tell someone is lying when trying to sell you something you can tell when friendly service is mandated by restaurants and hotels. Not here. You can *feel* that every single person who works at Colima is happy to cater to your wishes. You can feel that they genuinely enjoy doing it. I mentioned the stylish digs. It’s not just that the rooms are incredibly well designed and built, all of the little details are first class. Like dishes and mugs, all fine pottery (we stayed in a suite so not sure the smaller rooms have this). The shower products (made with honey) we delicious. The linens and towels were fluffy and buttery-soft. The neighborhood also plays a big role. We were here for nine days and only twice did we get on an Uber to go to other neighborhoods (and the Ubers get here in about four minutes, FYI) simply because the area is chock-full-of shops, restaurants (from hole-in-the-wall places to full-on gourmet experiences) within a short walk. The only detriment is that we’ve eaten soooooo much while here that we worried about gaining weight. But with all the walking we’ve done plus the gym access the hotel gives you as part of your stay (eighteen-minute walk from here), I’ve actually lost three pounds. Go figure. What else? Breakfast is included and it comes from the best little bakery in the area (Rosetta); it’s delivered to your room at the time you request it. Most transactions happen via WhatsApp and it makes everything so smooth and easy. We’re already planning a return trip to the hotel—and hoping to bring friends. One recommendation: Pack a bit light. There’s a place just a block away where you can get your laundry done for cheap. That’ll leave room in your suitcase for all of the cute goodies nearby stores sell. Must-trys: Rosetta (the main restaurant—and make sure you order the bread with the ant-topped butter); Brujas, a witchcraft-themed bar where the all-witch female bartenders prepare boozy potions; Tinze for funky, unusual tacos; Maximo, for a fancy dinner. At one point we just stopped trying all the recommended places and just popped into whatever place looks cool and never did we have a crappy meal. I think Mexicans just don’t tolerate crappy food.

Very friendly staff! To the smallest detail, if it is a delicious cappuccino prepared in the lobby or …anything that cones to mind- the staff is there with amazing attitude! Great location Impeccably clean- rooms and common area Thank you Colima71

Mi estancia en Colima 71 Art Community Hotel fue una experiencia de lujo incomparable. Este lugar me dejó gratamente sorprendido, ya que nunca antes había experimentado un nivel de atención al detalle tan excepcional. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, especialmente la que ocupé con sus 40 metros cuadrados. La presencia de un balcón o terraza en cada habitación añade un toque de exclusividad, permitiéndote disfrutar de las vistas y del aire fresco en privado. Las camas son de primera clase, proporcionando un nivel de comodidad que te envuelve en un sueño reparador. Los desayunos que me llevaron a la habitación todos los días eran un verdadero placer para el paladar. El café con leche de almendra natural es una delicia que añade un toque gourmet a las mañanas. Los productos de baño de miel de abeja son un auténtico regalo para la piel, dejando una fragancia fresca y agradable. Sin embargo, lo que realmente hizo que mi estancia fuera inolvidable es el nivel de servicio y la calidez del personal. Cada miembro del equipo se esfuerza por brindar una hospitalidad excepcional, y su atención a los detalles hace que te sientas como un huésped muy especial. Espero con ansias mi próxima visita a este hotel que ha transformado por completo mi percepción de lo que realmente es el lujo. La arquitectura de Alberto Kalach y la presencia de arte y artesanías perfectamente curadas en todo el hotel lo convierten en un lugar verdaderamente cautivador.
