The check-in was a breeze. The front desk guy offered the parking options which we chose valet. Each time we called for our car, it was retrieved quickly. Once we got to our room, it was freezing. I called to the front desk and they advised us that they didn’t have a heater. Miami usually doesn’t get this type of weather so I get it, but leaving 40 degree weather to come into a room that was 64 degrees and no offering of any additional blankets was misery. Check out was fine until a day later, I received an unauthorized charged from the minibar. I reached out to the hotel, and they claimed an item was missing and they would check into it. My husband and I didn’t use the room for anything but a shower and sleep. We were gone most of the time. Needless to say, I never received a follow up. Will not return due to this in itself. It’s the principle. I don’t like dishonesty.
