Pont d'Agua Hotel

The restaurant has a great location, but service terrible – don’t bother! From arrival to getting served a main course (no starter) we were 70 minutes and the place wasn’t busy. Several local business groups in attendance so it clearly has a following but the delay killed it for us. It’s a shame as the location is great and the experience was overpriced.

This hotel looks very nice and has a great - great - location. Then the reception staff fumble your check in, The A/C in the room is held open with a pen jammed into the hinge and the fans sound like a jet taking off and the hot water only works occasionally. You order food to the room and it comes in a take out box and the chairs are only on the front of the room not on the balcony - being on holiday you move the chairs on to the balcony, only to discover there is no separation between you and the other rooms apart from a few sticks shoved into a pot (literally) that offer no privacy whatsoever. But with the roar from the A/C vents you don't want to spend much time there anyway... The hotel looks nice and is in a great location. and it has a big pool...average breakfast selection and new management- so perhaps with some work...

Goed om te weten is dat Mansa Marina en Pont d'Agua dezelfde plek is. Wij waren door de 2 verschillende namen in het begin wat door de war maar Mansa Marina is de naam van het hotel en restaurant en Pont d'Agua is (volgens mij) de naam van de locatie. Hier kun je heerlijk een middagje zwemmen met uitzicht op de haven. Houten bedjes met een matrasje liggen goed. Ga zeker een hapje eten bij Mansa Marina restaurant: dit is de plek waar wij het lekkerst hebben gegeten in Mindelo. We moesten wel lang wachten op het eten (dus schuif op tijd aan) maar het is het enorm waard. Lieve en goede service, we komen zeker terug

Changement de propriétaire en cours. L'hôtel est le plus beau et le mieux placé de Mindelo avec vue sur la mer. Il est vrai que des travaux d'entretien sont nécessaires pour redonner sa superbe à l'hôtel. Attention certaines chambres côté rue sont certainement bruyantes. Pour les autres vue jardin et vue mer aucun problème. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner déjeuner et super et le prendre sur la terrasse face mer génial. Le restaurant du soir est très bon, tout et préparé à la demande. Cela explique quelques fois que le service peut être un peu long...mais vous êtes en congés et au Cap Vert. No stress. Le rapport qualité prix est un tout petit peu élevé pour le pays et les travaux de rafraîchissement nécessaires. Il faudra quand-même isoler les toilettes dans les chambres qui sont ouverts sur la salle de bain... Nous avons passé 5 jours et necregrettons aucunement notre choix. L'hôtel est idéalement placé. La direction de l'hôtel en la personne de Monica et Dominguos le manager ont été au top et ont tout fait pour nous rendre le séjour encore plus confortable Un grand merci !

Après lecture de certains avis j’avais des craintes! Mais elle se sont révélées infondées. L’hôtel à été rénové très récemment. Les chambres avec petite terrasse donnant sur la mer sont parfaites. Magnifique piscine avec infrastructure de bon niveau. Le restaurant nous a donné entièrement satisfaction avec des plats préparés avec soin.
