Hastily organized design. Somewhat difficult to get to the Registration desk from the parking ramp.

The folks are always helpful and friendly. They were short staffed, especially with the holiday, but they did their best to accommodate us at every turn.

The staff we encountered were professional, helpful and gracious. The room we had was on the 28th floor-what a view! The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. We did not have a meal at the hotel during our stay, but did have a drink at the hotel bar. Nice atmosphere and great bartenders! We will stay at Minneapolis Marriott City Center again!

The front desk staff did not greet us, did not use please or thank you, did not smile and was generally unpleasant. Their parking services were not working to get access in and out of the garage so we had to go to the lobby each time. In these cases since we had to pay extra for parking, it would have been appropriate to make it complimentary since it was not working properly and required more work by the paying guest. They also had a room service menu printed in the room and advertised in the elevator but when we tried to place an order they said they were no longer doing room service at all (we made sure we called within the hours listed on the menu).

The heater wasn’t working on the room. And it was amazing cold. However they repair the heater at 3:30 am. However the sleep was not the best.

I realize it’s the world we live in now but there was a periodic smell of pot in the hotel. The disappointing part of this reality is how every time the HVAC ran it blew the smell in the room. The system could benefit from additional filtration so that those don’t imbibe don’t share in the experience.

The hotel it self was awesome as always. We were there for a Vikings game. When we arrived and went t park in the parking garage the machine said was jammed. It was actually out of paper. There were cars behind us wanting to park but we couldnt get in or out. The call button worked but we talked to three different people in the 20-30 minutes before they actually let us in.
