Amazing ! Great people, nice location and very good food ( we had breakfast and super). We stayed 2 nights and we were sad to leave. We will get back for sure. Highly recommended!!!

Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Perfect two day stay in a stunning place! Nature and landscape around, clean, big garden, swimming pool, lovely people around, trips around possible. Check with staff various possibilities. Loved the design of the building, the location, the staff and the peaceful environment. Only down side was noise from bedrooms on either side - thin walls ! Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of quality and fresh local products. The garden is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, charming and super clean. Nice big and comfy bed. But the walls are thin and you can hear the room next door without much noise from the neighbors. In our case there were few people near by but when is full it must be quite annoying. Loved the semi-private terrace with great views over the countryside. There are very good typical portuguese restaurants less than 10min by car. Breakfast/dining room a little bit stuffy and possibly a crowded spot. Too small when the place has all the accommodations occupied The same happens in the pool area. A fantastic spot but it becomes very crowded when there are many guests at the same time. Many sunbeds allow the permanence of many guests at the same time which causes them to be all on top of each other. when this happens there is also a lot of noise which makes it impossible to rest and relax (if there are children it is naturally worse) Once again I praise (a lot) the staff that seemed short/small to me (e.g.: the receptionist does the cleaning and even helps with meals). Which makes the friendliness, attention and care of all the staff even more complimentary. In short, if it weren't for the very thin walls of the rooms and the existence, in my opinion, of a high number of possible guests, which, when overcrowded, does not allow for real rest, this accommodation would easily receive 10 stars. No matter what happens in the future, the success of this spot is essentially due to the staff. I never get tired of praising them I'll come back for sure (but first I'll confirm if there isn’t too many reservations for the same date) ;)

Beautiful place! Quiet, peaceful and a comfortable place to relax. The Staff is super nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and full of options. Great stay :)

Great little hotel. The room was freezing (mid february), heating never could warm the place and it had a strong mildew stench to it. Otherwise, close to the historical Monsaraz, nice breakfast, great staff.

What a beautiful property and idyllic spot! Anabela is a great host. I was only going to stay one night but extended it to three! They have a great massage therapist, too, who comes on site and does massages in a dedicated spa room. The pool area is beautiful, especially at sunset! My only feedback would be 1) move the parking area as it spoils the view a bit; 2) put in ground level lighting on the paths as it’s very dark and dangerous and easy to stumble at night when returning to your room. Minor issues! I would 100% stay again!!

The hotel has been excellent. The place is beautiful, room impressing, and people are the nicest. Breakfast is delicious. Only one suggestion: it would be great to have wider variety for dinner, even if you have to order in the morning, or something like that.

A Horta é muito simpática, com recantos acolhedores e muito sossegados. Os quartos são grandes e confortáveis, decorados de forma simples, mas com bom gosto. O pequeno-almoço é de antologia. Gostei particularmente dos cogumelos salteados. As funcionárias são, ainda assim, o melhor da casa. Simpatia, descontração e muita colaboração. Verdadeira hospitalidade alentejana.

Simpatia e disponibilidade em ajudar por parte das trabalhadoras do hotel. Boas instalações e um ótimo pequeno almoço. Bons almoços, comida caseira. Lugar magnifico. Boa localização e nuito perto da barragem. A repetir.

Maravilhoso. O merecido descanso, encontrado num local tão romântico, quanto agradável. Staff todo ele muito simpático e disponível, desde a Anabela à Cátia, sem esquecer a Joana, a Gertrudes e as restantes (cujo nome não recordo). Sim, tratar pelo seu próprio nome, significa o quanto me senti em casa . Quartos simpáticos, bonitos e espaçosos, cheios de conforto. Refeições deliciosas, com produtos regionais, muito bem confeccionados e em quantidade elevada. Experiência inesquecível num espaço todo ele de bom gosto e conforto.
