Horrific! Do not go to Hotel Glorina. I wish i can rate this hotel less than Zero. We missed our flight and the air Canada rep called Hotel Gloriana to try to get us a room. The outside looked really bad but my friends and I decided to give it a try. They showed us a room in the lobby and said all the rooms are the same. I was skeptical, but my friends convinced me that we were only staying for 5 hours. The bellman took our suitcases to our room and left. I an still think , this was a horror movie. The towels are old and dirty, the blankets are so worned out and dirty. The faucet didn't work. They have not replaced anything in the rooms since the seventies. The rooms have roaches and mice. I stayed up with my feet on the suitcase because I refused to open my luggage. Could not shower because the roaches were plentiful. I'm scared for life. The owner is rude and doesn't care. Please be aware of this Horrific Hotel.

My self respect dropped a few notches after staying at this hotel. This place is garbage! There were a large number of issues. I only gave it one star because there was no option to give it zero stars. Firstly, when we arrived, the hotel told us that ******* had not sent over our reservation that we made three days prior. They sent us away bag and baggage into Montego Bay with nowhere to go. I reached out to *******, who reached out to the hotel to confirm our reservation and we returned and checked in. we checked in because we had nowhere else to go. The following are just some of the issues that we have with the hotel. Electrical outlets didn’t work, wiring was sketchy, the toilet didn’t flush, the TV had no reception, there was no laundry service as indicated in the hotel services online. We asked and we told that there was no laundry service that day because they dry the clothes and it was raining. The bathroom door didn’t lock and it fell open when you tried to close it zero privacy for taking a shower or using the toilet . there was a gaping hole in the balcony door where the handle used to be. Air conditioner was either on or off (so you were either freezing or roasting). The ceiling fan didn’t work. There were no light fixtures, just bulbs sticking out of the wall. There is no smoke detector it was pulled out of the ceiling and you can see the wires (see picture) There were multiple light switches. We had no idea what they were for because they didn’t seem to do anything. There was an ironing board, but no iron. Housekeeping came and handed my husband a random brown tray and said it belong to the room. She laid it on the fridge, and we realized later that the reason that it was there is because there was a leak around the bulb in the ceiling and it was dripping down into the fridge where by the way, we are unknowingly charging our phones. In summary, I do not recommend this place I recommend that you stay as far away from possible. I don’t know who are these 10 out of 10 ratings on other sites and I’m pretty sure that it must be staff or the owners..

I arrived at the property and was told that our reservation was not sent to the property by ******* and was told to leave the property for two hours until they straighten things out. TV did not work. The toilet did not flush. There was a gap in the balcony door, where the handle was torn out. The bathroom door did not close.. there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Etc. etc..

The common areas are dark and dingy. The door on the room has a simple lock with no dead bolt or chain, while the Small TV is in cased in rebarb. So they have extreme security for their TV, but nothing for your belongs. It’s unbearably noisy. Street noise out of the sliding door and lounge music blaring from the courtyard. They did not receive my reservations from Orbitz and told me that they dont use Orbits for booking even though I showed them the email. So I was exhausted and tired, so they told me to cancel the two day reservation that I had and pay for a single night. So far no refund. They told me they couldnt do it and to talk to Orbitz. So far. no refund. Besides no safe in the room, I rented a safety deposit box for $5, but it was 3 inches wide, too small to hold my Ipad and other valuables. The lobby shuts down at 10:30, so there is no drinkable water in the room or lobby at that time. Not the best.

I was so disappointed , the room was not properly clean, there was a couple that stayed in the room before me, their slippers were still there, seems like they were on their moon. There was hair in the bathroom sink. Just disgusting, room need a lot of work . Window curtains need to wash. May I truly believe that they should inspect the room before putting anyone in there. experience was not good.

I expected clean usable towels. The towels are thread bare. The sheets were dingy. I used one use sheets to cover the bed. They really need to invest in new linen and towels.

The pictures used on these booking websites are OLD....it looks NOTHING like this. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The rooms are scary AND dirty. Note there are no microwaves, irons, ironing board or hair dryers. The linen is old. The owners have reinvested NO money into maintenance and upgrades. Furniture 8s old...everything is old and decrepit The fist room we had, there was a leak coming from a light fixture in the bathroom. Called the front desk and no one came to check. We had to go and get help the next day.

The service was on point. Friendly staff and willing to help. Property is clean. I have nothing bad to say about this Hotel. I have been coming to Mobay for 7yrs and have stayed in many hotels. So far this is my favorite and i look forward to staying there on my next trip.
