Lovely hotel and facilities and friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was included and had a great choice of hot food and continental breakfast with yogurts and fresh fruits available every day. Pool was really warm clean and well maintained. Overall it was a pleasurable stay and looking forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay

We stayed here for seven days on holiday to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and my birthday. Check in was simple and quick, but we initially thought the half board price was too inflated. However we quickly realized that they have created an atmosphere for experiencing wonderful foods and wines while enjoying the company of your partner, family, friends or colleagues. Meals became events to treasure. The pools and spa area are clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Our room was small but quiet and temperature-controlled to our preference. The train station is about a 250 meter walk from the lobby. The front desk clerks can assist in securing and coordinating any of several guided tours to wineries or historical landmarks. I will stay here again whenever our travels bring us to the area. It was a fantastic and relaxing experience!

A marvellous experience of wellness, health and soul care in a luxury facility. As an absolute fan of thermal baths and SPAs I was literally surprised by this facility in the very ceter of Montegrotto Terme. Across the years I have visited many hotels in the area of Colli Euganei however the Hotel Mioni Royal San surpassed all the others in terms of experience of the SPA, cleaning of all the areas, the pool as well as the kindness, professionality and warm reception operated by the Staff. The half day spent in the hotel literally recovered and revitalized the two of us after a quite intense year of work and stressful experiences. I can only dream to go back possibly with a fully-fledge experience of SPA- pool and few days in the hotel. Totally recommended.

I’m sharing the good, the bad, the just ok. Good: Thermal spa (“fango”), destination for many retired Italians for health benefits. Bad: Fromt desk management - Canceled excursion (from the hotel website - we asked multiple times and were misled for days), no follow through by front desk on how to find tickets for a musical concert (or even how to dial out t call for ourselves!), and really wrong menu translated into all languages other than Italian (veal cooked to death vs grilled sardines). Just ok: Extra firm beds, trains going by at all hours rattled out walls and vibrated the bed, could not control temperature in the room, super stuffy smelly toilet. Hot tip: do not allow to be assigned to room with a low number on a low floor. Be on time for dinner if you want the good stuff (salad bar is the only highlight of any dinner all week).

Bed hard, pillows flat, room hot no room temperature control. Location is great access to the train. People at the desk is excellent. Hotel is relaxing. Do not get a room on the train side, it is not quiet.

We stayed here for 4 nights while we explored Bologna, Padova & Venice by train. Its location is perfect. We are in our late 50’s and this matters because the hotel was mainly full of people approaching 80? +. No problem with this but it felt a bit like a care home! Too hot and the food, especially the evening meal was poor. The salad bar was OK but watching people ***** it bare like locusts was less ok. Main courses were unseasoned, flavourless & warm at best. The staff were fast, friendly and courteous but the whole atmosphere was not for us. Maybe in 20 years.

It is a great place to use as a hub to travel around the area and into Venice. Padova should not be overlooked. Much to do there and the time that could be spent in Venice is limitless if you have it. The train station is literally across the parking lot and we went all over just using the train to Venice, Padova and back and forth to Pisa and Milan

Hotel is next to train station and is convenient to travel to many cities. Room is clean and hotel has swimming pool. Food is outstanding and I really enjoyed. I highly recommend to buy half board meal option and it worth every penny.
