Stelle di Monte

We stayed at Stelle di Monte for three nights at the tail end of our Italy tour and it was by far the best experience we could have asked for. Let me begin by saying how absolutely lucky we are to have found this gem, all of the five-star reviews are well deserved and more. The love and attention the Nathalie and Igor pour into this property is overflowing and can be felt by everyone who stays here. The hotel itself is in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, with gorgeous views from every angle, but truly the best part of our stay with the hospitably provided and how we were treated not just as guests but as friends. Prior to arriving at the property Nathalie was always easily reachable and communicative though the booking process, she also provided us a list of recommendations for restaurants, wineries, and activities to do in the area (absolutely must use there are so many great recommendations on this). Once we arrived Igor greeted us personally with a glass of wine in the cellar and walked us around the property, explained the history of the renovations, and showed us to our room. We had dinner on site the first night there and it is a must do while staying here! The food was delicious (lots of truffle!), and they had many local wines on their wine list, some of the vineyards we got to visit later on in our trip! Nathalie and Igor also personally ran the dinner and breakfast services and were always available to chat about anything you needed. At the end of our stay Nathalie also helped us with organizing our return taxi to the train station and even waited with us while they were running late to ensure we would make our connection on time; truly amazing hospitably to the very last minute we left. I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is a must stay in Montepulciano! Hopefully one day we will be lucky to return; best of luck on all future endeavors to Nathalie and Igor and Stelle di Monte!!

Nathalie & Igor go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and at home at their beautiful Stelle di Monte! The views are gorgeous, and the attention to detail impeccable! Our Honeymoon stay at Stelle di Monte was absolutely wonderful. The views were stunning, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience to stay and dine there. Nathalie & Igor were incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring we felt right at home. The food was incredible, with every meal being an unforgettable culinary experience. Every recommendation they provided was perfect, and I highly recommend taking one of their suggested tours. Stelle di Monte truly made our trip to Tuscany unforgettable and I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Stelle Di Monte is truly one of a kind! This place is right out of a storybook. Our room was gorgeous, with an area outside to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the Tuscan hills and Montepulciano. Nathalie and Igor are such gracious hosts and highly recommend making dinner reservations. We had dinner both nights and I can honestly say they were the best we have ever had. We look forward to staying at this magical place again!

I truly don't know where to begin... My husband and I stayed here recently on our honeymoon, and our experience was INCREDIBLE. This is such a special place, it is a beautiful 5 star accommodation built with so much love. You can tell Nathalie and Igor take so much pride in Stelle Di Monte and make each guest feel so special. We had dinner at the property one night during our stay. We happened to be the only guests eating there that night. It was a private Michelin star dinner overlooking vineyards in Tuscany (need I say more??). The daily breakfast is incredible (homemade bread, truffle eggs, local fresh fruit, cappuccinos, etc etc.). The location is perfect, walking distance to the town in Montepulciano and close driving distance to so many other amazing towns and sites. We cannot recommend Stelle Di Monte more! Thank you Nathalie and Igor for hosting us and giving us such a memorable experience in Montepulciano! We will definitely be back.

Nathalie and Igor were the perfect hosts. The building has recently been remodeled. It is modern with old world charm. Beautiful and comfortable! The views are spectacular. The food was incredible. Igor crafted a menu for the guests and everything we ate was delicious. Everything about our stay was perfect. And it was only a five minute drive from the main town of Montepulciano. Would highly recommend!

Wow, Igor and Nathalie have poured their hearts and souls into creating a stay that was simply the highlight of our Italian summer holiday. Character stone buildings painstakingly restored for our pleasure. Landscaped surrounds in a private setting on rural land accentuating 180 degree views of a Tuscan valley, dotted with wineries and then the very best vista - Montepulciano sitting up high to your right in all it's glory. It's so quiet but yet just a easy 10-15 minute gently sloped walk into the town, done four times by us in the middle of summer with no hassle. The hosts are simply wonderful to be around, classy and fun and yes Igor is a chef of the highest order so the dining experience is a must. The staff were so happy and helpful. The rooms are character laden and the photos very accurately display how they are. Quite simply, what you have here is the reality of an amazing dream by the hosts - A Tuscan dream and who hasn't dream't that before! We will definitely return.

Out of our two weeks in Italy, Montepulciano was by far our favorite stop. Other than the beautiful landscape and adorable little town, Stella Di Monte is what made our time there so amazing. Owners Igor and Nathalie greeted us as soon as we arrived along with one of their very kind employees who brought us around the property and into their beautiful wine cellar. The room was simply beautiful we couldn’t get over the beauty of the stone surrounding the bed. We were given great recommendations about where to go into in town and where to enjoy some great local meats. Igor cooked us breakfast every single morning and it was one of the best meals I had the whole trip. Our meals were spent outside with the most stunning views along with the most beautiful aromas of all the fresh herbs growing all over the property. I loved Stella Di Monte so much I wanted to spend the rest of our time in Italy there. If you are able to stay here I also recommend leaving with some of their amazing olive oil. I cannot wait to go back!

Such an amazing unique private property. The views were beautiful and the picturesque Tuscan scene. Our hosts we so accommodating. The meals were private, intimate and delicious. Perfect location near Monte Pulciano and the country side left many options open for activities.
