We booked Quality because of its proximity to the airport and free shuttle service. Getting to the shuttle bus around 11pm, we were unable to open the door because the driver was asleep at the wheel. As we and other passengers tried to get his attention, it took multiple efforts in the freezing Montreal winter temperatures to wake him up and eventually open the door. Rather disoriented, he questioned why each person was on the bus with no clear thought or rationale as to why. Once we departed to the hotel, he fell asleep while driving multiple times, within the airport and on the highway, veering across multiple lanes and shoulders of the road. Passengers had to keep him awake by either screaming in fear or conversing with him to maintain his attention and alertness. Upon arriving, and bringing this to the hotel's attention, the front desk associate said this was the third complaint in less than 48 hours. We were still told it would be the same driver the following morning - we paid for an Uber instead as there is no way anyone should be taking the risk of injury or harm with that shuttle service.
This is extremely unacceptable practice and the driver should have been pulled off the road immediately. This is complete neglect of the well-being of Quality's customers and other drivers on the road.
We came to find out that upper management had already been aware of these complaints + previous ones and decided to keep the same driver at the wheel. We will not be staying again.
