My fiancé and I had a destination wedding in Morelia this past month. My friends and family who flew in to Morelia stayed at Casa Grande and have nothing but positive feedback to provide. The service from the staff was impeccable. They were so attentive and kind. The hotel itself is stunning from the architect, to the different layouts of each bedroom. The beds were super comfy and the rooms were cleaned every day. The location of the hotel was also very convenient and walkable. The food and bar beverages were top tier. Casa Grande made our stay in Morelia so magical and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend staying here!! Morelia brides… definitely consider having your wedding here. It was absolutely perfect!!!

The hotel is beautiful. However, apart from being an extremely expensive hotel for the area, the staff are extremely rude and overcharged for everything! I stayed here to get ready with my bridesmaids for my wedding and the morning turned into a nightmare. From their outlets not working, not letting us get ready in the room, trying to charge us $200 USD for a get ready room that they offered without mentioning charge, and charging for coffee service within 2 hours of bringing it. I will never stay here again, nor do I recommend it to anyone. It is not worth it.

The noise level makes this hotel impossible. Outside traffic noise and vibration were terrible. Moved rooms only to have a wedding party and disco until 1:00am.

Amazing hotel, clean, well decorated. Friendly front desk staff. Unbeatable location. The only complaint I would have is that service at breakfast in the rooftop was very bad. I think it was because the kitchen is on a lower level so was much slower, but also didn’t get condiments, like syrup or butter for pancakes, even after asking for them, so had to eat them dry, and rarely saw the server. Wasn’t a major issue issue however as we loved everything else.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in Mexico. It is decorated with authentic Mexican art. The rooms are super beautiful with amazing linens and beauty products. It is 5 stars

It was not a great place to stay. We never received a free drinks or a bottle. The room was nice, but there is a bar or a club next door and kept us up until 3am. I also tried doing a late check out and at first I was told yes and the next day the staff said no. I would't stay here again. Very dissapointed.

I had three master suites. One morning a man appeared in my 86 year old mothers room, having somehow unlocked the door with a magnetic key. I complained to the General Manager and was assured a complete investigation. I never heard back from that at all. I emailed them 3 weeks later and still have not heard a word. If you are concerned for your safety, this is NOT the hotel to stay at.

Our experience of a week’s stay has been wonderful. Our room and the hotel’s restaurant were a delight. It’s hard to pick anyone out for especially good service, as everyone we encountered was friendly and responsive. With only 12 rooms “boutique” is a good description. One does have to pay attention to noisy events on the roof terrace that may go into the small hours. An unfortunate feature of the hotel architecture is that there is no proper lobby. A patio open to the sky is probably ok in warm weather months, not so much in December. There is a cozy bar attached to the restaurant that serves this purpose and nobody objected to our using it as an area for relaxation and conversation.
