Beautifully renovated inn with laid back charm and nice decor. The bathroom needs some upkeep, but overall a nice place to stay for a long weekend. Sound insulation can be a bit poor. Main lobby and reception is modern, large with view over the lagoon and the Morro rock.

Everything about our stay was good and what we'd expected. What we didn't expect was that we'd have orange water coming out of the toilet, shower and sink our entire stay!!! When we told the front desk they said they'd send someone to check, then never followed up. Took cups of the water with us to check out and complained and again they never followed up! Thank goodness it was only a short stay.

Standard room isn't really fit for stay. Very stained walls, trash on the floor right in front, can hear people having a normal conversation even by the lobby. Really not kept up and was pretty disgusting. The staff was night I just think it's not presented appropriately. We didn't feel comfortable staying there and all they said was they still had to charge us whcih is fine. So I just wanted to make sure other people don't have this same experience. Would highly avoid this place.

The heater didn’t work in the room. I was cold and had to put on extra clothes over my pajamas and a robe and was still cold. I was giving two extra blankets and a space heater for the room. The next day the moisture inside the windows made it cold as it was 40° outside at night. The water in the toilet was brown as well as in the sink and shower. I had to use a bottle of water to brush my teeth. I would like a refund for my complete stay there they offered to upgrade the room, but at a cost. me and my sister vacation in that area around four times a year and we would never go back to that place again.

While the staff were friendly enough, I thought for the price the room was exceptionally small, could have been cleaner and maybe a few more amenities. My garden view room didn't have much of a view of the garden. The icing on the cake was the very large spider that was clinging to the headboard. Since the headboard is attached to the wall, we couldn't move it to get it. I slept at the foot of the bed and from there could see all the spider webs on the pictures and the back of the chair. I should say I barely slept at all for fear of the spider getting on me. Better housekeeping is a must. Shower was nice but bathroom is exceptionally small. I don't think I will visit there again.

They clean the rooms every 3 days. We don't have black hair but there was a lot of black hair on the floor of the bathroom, so not sure how thoroughly they clean after a departure. Food in restaurant was very good. Nice hot tub.

We booked and paid for a room with view. Inn at Morro Bay only gave us a room with partial view and blamed it on wrong description by *******. They were neither willing to give us the room we booked nor reimbursed us for the price of the lesser room.
Furthermore there were hairs in the bathroom. While walking barefoot on the floor we got dirty feet.
