Chanya Lodge is a new favorite. The staff, food, and particularly the setting make it a perfect place. I stayed with a large group - 20. Everything was on time, professional and of the highest quality. I will be back for sure!

Probably one of the hidden gems outside Moshi town and a nice stop over for people travelling to the Kenyan border or from the Kenyan border of Taveta and Holili as well those coming to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. The rooms are nicely decorated with an African them finish; the open restaurant felt so good for me.

Lovely place to stay and beautiful location! Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were very nice, modern and comfortable! Unfortunately my grandmother’s room had a small leak the first day, but this was sorted very quickly. We overall really enjoyed our stay here and would 100% recommend!

Chanya lodge is a beautiful oasis - a home from home. The staff are just wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. They treated us like family. The food was the best food I have ever had! Try the curries, so yummy. The stunning pool and gardens are a real treat, stunning rooms immaculately kept. Also the most amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro as you have your morning coffee!!!! ❤️

Food and everything was awesome. The rooms were the best and everyone slept well. The amount of greenery is so good looking and gives alot of fresh air. The pool is good and I love the view of the restaurant by the poolside. Plus I love the idea of using glass bottles. Overall my experience was good

The rooms are clean and the food is very good. The waiters are so helpful...especially Emanuel and philipina so helpful. Emanuel was really good at teaching us the maasai jumps so entertaining. The pool is clean and well maintained. The garden is awesome

They had GREAT vegan, gluten-free, milk free and in general healthy food options, easy to get delicious food here. They could easily adjust to whatever you need. Good breakfast as well. And the staff are the sweetest! The best service we have experienced this week

Very welcoming stay made extra special by the attentiveness and warm attitude of the staff, especially Emmanuel, Josephine and Omary. Breakfast buffet was solid and nice environment with the pool and garden. Rooms a bit dark and wifi spotiness are areas for improvement.

The lodge is situated a few kilometers outside of Moshi. As it is close to a big street it's a little loud at night. The design of the rooms is very nice. The pool area is also nice. Service overall is good and the food is excellent. It's a perfect starting point for trips to Kilimanjaro.
