Outeniquabosch Lodge

Stayed for 4 nights while touring the Garden Route. Only intended 3 nights. Absolutely wonderful experience. Jean is a most gracious host, the breakfast was simply second to none and wonderful staff. The outdoor shower was a favorite and Rocky and Skye (German Shepherds) were our girls’ favorite. Best sleep during our entire 3 week trip (Fitbit confirmed). Easy to get to and very accommodating. Highly recommended and would love to stay again, hopefully soon.

Beautiful rural location, views of hills and meadows, sheep and horses, lovely gardens, a spectacular kloof in the backyard so to speak. Hospitable host and staff, nice breakfast. Great overnight stay.

What an awesome weekend at OBL!! Jean and Lucy went out if their way to see to our every need and help us with whatever we asked. The lodge is beautiful and the staff friendly. We will recommend it to all our friends and family...hope to visit there again.. soon!! :))

Excellent venue where the owners go the extra mile. Enjoyed our stay. Attended a wedding. Beautiful venue with lots of attention to detail. The food was excellent. We travelled with our children. The venue is kids friendly.

We went for a one night stay, too short. The rooms are all well equipped and have a lounge/ kitchenette with a verandah that can be open or closed which is wonderful for the windy and wet weather . The pool is a good size plus there is shaded seating. There is an outdoor chapel area with seating. You have a wonderful view from every side of the lodge. It is very rural with farm animals grazing in surrounding camps. Really lovely and peaceful. The food is an unexpected treat! Full English and buffet. They really go to a lot of trouble making dishes tasty and the plating is done with care and flair. The road is mostly tarred surface with a short distance of gravel that a small car can manage. The staff were fun, helpful and full of humor. A delightful stay.

I enjoyed. my weekend there and felt like I was treated like royalty. The Host was so friendly and made sure everything was perfect. there pool aria was a blessing to be able to cool off on the warm sunny days. I would definitely re-visit just to enjoy the delicious breakfast.

We were in need of fresh air and a relaxed environment. Quteniquabosch Lodge exceeded our expectations The green valley and beautifull garden surrounded us. The lodge has indoor braai facilities incase of unpleasant weather. Jean is an excellent host. We will be back

Our overall experience at Outeniguabosh was very good. The setting is truly magical with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Its extremely quiet and peaceful, just what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of city life for a while. The staff where top notch, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was exceptional and with Jean and Bertus freindly chats in the morning it was a great start for the day. Rooms were adequate and clean. The only downside for us was the 2 km of gravel road to get there.

Outeniquabosch Lodge is a must for any traveller. This beautiful guest house on the outskirts of Mossel Bay is a hidden gem. The tranquility of the farm, but close enough to all amenities of Mossel Bay and George. This hidden gem has everything any discerning traveller could ask for, the host and staff are friendly, the service is efficient, the cleanliness of the rooms is first class compared to any 5* hotel. A good nights rest is guarenteed, the beds are first class. Gourmet cooking at its best and generous portions. This family run establishment is very professional. Best value for money anywhere. I would recommend Outeniquabosch Lodge to any person looking for accomodation in the George/Moseel Bay area. I rate you 5 Stars.
